Where am I?

What's happening?

I'm surrounded by darkness, and I can't see anything except a faint light twinkling at the end of this long tunnel. I feel as light as a feather, and the longer I stare at the light, the more it seems to wink at me, as if inviting me to come closer.

What is that?

Without making a sound, I walked toward the light. It grew larger as I approached, leaving me confused. For some reason, I felt no fear. Even though I stood in darkness with no idea where I was, my heart remained calm.

I squinted as I finally reached the light, and the world around me brightened, revealing a beautiful garden filled with purple and white flowers. The well-maintained grass felt soothing beneath my feet.

Where is this place?

There were many trees, the breeze was refreshing, and butterflies of various colors fluttered around me. Am I in heaven? But... I don't remember dying.

My feet came to a halt when I spotted a familiar figure sitting on a wooden swing chair in the garden. There I was, wearing a white dress, my hands resting on my thighs, my eyes closed as if I were asleep. My brown, wavy hair cascaded down, faintly dancing with the breeze.

Why am I seeing myself?

I was asleep, wearing an unfamiliar yet peaceful expression-one I had never experienced in my life. White flowers were nestled perfectly behind the garden swing chair where I sat.

Is this a dream?

As I watched myself sleep, a faint smile touched my lips, as if I were having a beautiful dream within this dream.

My lips parted when a sparrow landed on my delicate shoulder and looked directly at me. My heart seemed to skip a beat, and in an instant, everything went dark.

The familiar sensation of the breeze still caressed my skin, and this time, I could feel the comforting support of something against my back. I couldn't see anything because my eyes were closed. My hands rested on a soft fabric, and I realized I couldn't move them.

Am I sleeping right now?

A rustle disturbed the peaceful silence. Slow, heavy footsteps approached, and just like that, my quiet slumber was disrupted. It felt as though I was sleeping, yet not.
