"Run away with me?" Draco asked his eyes full of hope. Hermione was taken aback, her eyes fluttering wide open.
"Run away with you? Where? How? Why?"
"I need to get away. Voldemort is going to kill me. He asked me to kill Dumbledore and...and I can't do it. I just can't kill him. He's done nothing wrong and I'm not even on the dark side. My dad bullied me into it and it was even worse for my mother. All she wanted was to protect me. I'm running away, and I'm giving you the choice. Run away with me or stay and never see me again. The choice is yours my love," Draco pleaded. The situation hit Hermione hard. How could she leave Harry and Ron- her best friends? She couldn't bear never seeing Draco again. The pain of that thought was positively unbearable and she had to make a decision right then and there.
"Draco, how can I make this decision wit so little time? What about Hogwarts, my education?"
"Hermione, I hate to break it to you but Voldemort is rising. You won't be in school for much longer anyway. You can either fight or run away with me. Now that I think about it those are your only choices. Do what you want to but I am leaving," he looked as if he could start crying. He flipped his golden hair out of his hair and darted his eyes to the ground. Hermione didn't say anything, he turned to leave and walked away.
"Draco, wait!!! I'll come, I'll come! But I need to explain to Harry and Ron first. I can't just leave without explaining," Hermione shouted. Draco, who was quite far away, turned back around and sprinted towards her. He engulfed her in a massive hug
"Whatever you want honey," he whispered in her ear. He nestled into her hair, engaging the sweet scent of jasmine.
"I'll follow you to the ends of the earth."
