"Hermione, come on we need to hurry!"
"Draco I need to say goodbye to Harry, Ron and Ginny. I can't leave without saying goodbye. Even if it is just for the meantime."
"That's fine, just hurry! We need to leave by midnight," Draco pleaded.
--------
"What?? Why are you running away with him??? Are you bloody mental Hermione?? He's going to kill you! Don't you see? He's tricking you, he's going to take you away so he can kill you!!"
"He's not going to kill me Ronald. He loves me!! And I love him! Nothing you can say or do can stop me. I'm leaving, so please move out the way," Hermione shoved past Ron to get to her bag.
"Hermione, let's talk this through first," Harry tried a calmer approach.
"There's nothing to talk about. I'm leaving with him."
"Fine go!! We don't care anyway!! I don't care because you have never cared about us, about me. I loved you Hermione," Ron shouted.
"Well how come I caught you with Lavender?" Ron looked down awkwardly at the ground.
"See! Goodbye Harry, I'll miss you and say bye to Ginny. I'll be back as soon as this is all finished and I can live freely with Draco. And Ron please learn to control your temper while I'm away, it really does you no favours," Hermione cried, tears streaming down her pale face. She engulfed them both in a hug. "I love you guys really."
"We love you too," Harry replied. Ron sniffed. "Mate are you crying?" Harry asked, half laughing.
"No." They all burst into a final fit of laughter and Hermione kissed them both on the cheek.
"Goodbye for now, my best friends. I love you always," Hermione turned away and walked out, not looking back incase she started crying uncontrollably.
--------
"Hermione, sweetheart, it's ok. You'll see them soon, I'll make sure of it. Now hurry, we have to go. Wait how did you get all your stuff in that tiny bag?"
"I used an undetectable extension charm," She sniffed. "Where are we going anyways?"
"I don't know, I was thinking up north in the highlands and then we can decide. Maybe Edinburgh, or even somewhere outside Scotland. We can't really go anywhere with like magic, we don't want word getting round. We can decide when we get up north, quick lets get out of the school then we can apparate," Draco whispered, both of them scurrying to a secret passage out the school.
"You can apparate??"
"Yes, my father taught me when I was 13 years old. I suppose when you're a death eater it doesn't really matter what rules you break because you're already following Voldemort, and that's a crime in itself."
They exited Hogwarts through a secret tunnel and ended up in Hogsmeade. Draco seemed fairly calm however Hermione was panicking.
"What if we get caught?"
"We won't, don't worry."
"I think I'm going to be sick!"
"Quick, take a drink of water!" Draco opened Hermione's bag and passed her a bottle of water. However, something caught his eye.
"Wait, is that an invisibility cloak?"
"Oh my word, Harry, he must of put it in when I wasn't looking!"
"Well, I suppose he isn't as bad as I thought," Draco muttered. "Now let's get out of here." Draco grabbed Hermione's arm and the next thing they knew they were being spun around, squeezed in a tight tube.
When they landed Draco looked round and saw rolling hills, a beautiful loch, and deer at the very top of the hills. However, when he turned round he saw Hermione silent on the ground, her eyes closed. What had happened?
