Forbidden Destiny (Dramione)

Chapter 11

Hermione had been unconscious for two minutes already and Draco was panicking. Her pulse had stopped and a big cut on her arm was spurting blood.
"Oh my merlin, Hermione! Wake up! What do I do, you're the smart one here! Please, someone help me!" He shouted into the empty landscape, a lone tree on top of the hills. Draco understood it's pain of loneliness, as he had been living with the words lonely permanently inscribed in his head. Of course, no one heard his calls. He had to think for himself for once, not have his father hissing into his ear every five seconds; making all his decisions for him.
"Right, think Draco, think!" He said out loud. He muttered a few words under his breath, a spell perhaps. Blood stopped pumping out of hermione's frail body. Instead, the wound closed over, leaving her healed. Miraculously, Hermione's eyes flashed open, darting around her in panic. She scanned her surroundings but when her eyes landed on Draco her fear was driven away.
"What happened?" She gasped.
"Ohh not much, just you know, you conked out for a bit after the apparition," he lied so he wouldn't worry her. He couldn't stop smiling now that he could hear her voice again.
"Now that we're away from the death eaters we can relax. How about breakfast?" She asked.
"No, no I'll make breakfast. You just rest," he said. Obviously he couldn't use magic to make food, so he reached into Hermione's bag and brought out an egg, oddly. He fried it over the fire and served it up on a big leaf in front of Hermione.
"Draco, where's your breakfast?" She enquired.
"There was only one egg so I insist you have it. Besides, I'm not the one who nearly died," he replied.
"Well, we are both in this together and what we have we share so you're getting half of this egg whether you like it or not," they both laughed and once Hermione had finished her half she handed the leaf with the other half over to Draco for him to finish. Life was going to get better, or so they thought.
