My Little pet

ch. 2

HAYDEN'S POV.
I couldn't hold it in any longer, I let my demon out and we slaughtered everyone. I turned around and there was a boy sitting on the ground, my demon seemed to like him and so did I. I couldn't bring myself to kill him; there was a darkness in his eyes, his eyes look like mine.
I walked up to him he didn't even flinch.
"What's your name?"
"Zander." He said backing away and looking down with a sadness in his eyes.
"Well Zander.. I'm Hayden..... how would you like to be my pet?" With a smile I reached out my hand. He took my hand and we left.
"He took my hand and left with me even though I had slaughtered everyone even his family. He didn't think twice about it. I wonder if he did it because he was scared if he said no I'd have killed him."I looked at him " no its not that, he doesn't seem scared at all." I thought to myself as he got in my car with me and we left to head to my home.

When we got to my house I sort of studied him.
"You can make yourself at home just don't go and running off." I looked at him as he made himself comfortable laying on the black and purple Gothic styled couch.
"If I wanted to run off I would've done it when you stopped the car." He grabbed a book off the table in front of the couch and opened it up.
"You like to read?" I questioned as most teenagers don't like to.
"Yeah, there's something about them. Every time I read it's like I'm escaping reality and going to another realm or something."
I let him read in silence as I watched him, he seemed to be really into murder mystery books. He stared at the pages intensely turning one page after another. By the end of the night he had passed out on the couch with the book over his face.
I went over to him and picked up the book and put a book mark in it and set it on the table. I picked him up and went down the hallway to the last room. I placed him in the bed, took his shoes off of him, and pulled the covers over his body. I went to my room and slept.
