Take a moment with me,

The paper cup in hand

Steaming black liquid bitter at first and sweet at the end

Rain pellets down tapping the ground patiently.

There's no rush, the steam swirls softly, gradually making its way becoming one with the air

Trees are still, the rain blankets them.

The stillest things in life, it needs no movement to be.

From ashy sage to lush bright green, the rain frees the leaves from its cage.

Colorless and dry no more, it refreshes all that they are.

So many leaves, scattered in different ways, no leaf is the same, but they stay together, work together in a chain.

It's all a chain, a balance with the space.

Somehow so still.

Reliable, unchanged, trees, rain and air.

No fear or worry, when we wake up every day.

These things do not change on this earth. Always trees, rain and air. Grasp onto it, as the coffee loses heat and the winds take pace.

Be in this moment with me

Let it take the pain.
