The music fills the room and I tell myself to stay in it

Let myself dissolve into the sound

It was a melody like silk spun and woven in intricate patterns

Soulful with the density of ribbon fibers

Under tension and resistant from stretching it's boundaries

Movement in sync, a fluid dispersion with the music

Blending so well as if swallowing each other

the music absorbing the movement, the movement absorbing the music they became each other

Floating somewhere in its universe

Taken off guard by a tender presence

Heart fluttering from trying to catch my breath

A subtle exterior exposing the intimacy lingering

Unraveling it inside out

Manifesting the space we're dreaming in

Internally vulnerable I was, wandering off into it beside

Exhaling the intake of air vocal inflections puffed into my lungs

Tracing fingers down a tension filled chest

Perspiration steaming and swirling off the surface of our bodies like a cooling pot of coffee

sticking to the walls, sticking to the air

It tastes sweet
