In a world ruled by fear, survival comes with a price.
When her brother's attempt to overthrow the Saviors fails, Tessa finds herself under Negan's watchful eye-protected, controlled, and dangerously close to the man she should hate. As violence, po...

Making there way into Alexandra, it felt... hollow. Like everyone evaporated.
"Lose the car?" Tobin asked
"Uh it's somewhere safe," Tessa responds.
"Listen, we need to get everyone, ready-"
Then the sound hit. Engines.
Carl looked back first. Tessa froze. Rick didn't move at all. Saviors. A whole caravan.
Trucks pulled through the gate like the community belonged to them. Dust swirled around their feet as Simon hopped out first, wearing his usual theatrical grin. Rick stood completely still. No fear — just cold focus.
"Rick, hello." Simon scanned the group... Michonne, Rosita, Jesus, then—His eyes caught Tessa. Recognition. Quick. Sharp. But he didn't say a word about it. Which somehow made it worse.
"We'd thought it's be longer." Rick spits out.
"Do you think we're here for a tribute? Do you? We're here for Daryl." Simon says. A blinking smile.
Rick didn't blink. "He's not here."
Simon nodded like that was charming. "Don't believe you." He waved his arm casually.
"Now, everyone find a buddy. Gonna have to follow us around. If he's here, we really need you all to see him die." Chills ran-down Tessa's body. She knows Daryl is safe at the kingdom, but for how long?
And just like that — Saviors exploded into Alexandria.
Tessa flinched at a loud crash two houses over. Carl stepped closer to her without even thinking.
Simon walked the street slowly, hands behind his back like he was inspecting a hotel he managed. He didn't talk to Tessa. He didn't need to. Every time his eyes passed over her, it was calm... but knowing. Negan left her here. He hasn't forgotten.
Rosita shoved past a Savior searching her porch. He sneered. Simon ignored it.
A Savior returned, breathless. "Nothing."
Simon clicked his tongue. He stretched his arms out like he was done with a workout. "Thank you for the cooperation, Rick. My apologies for leaving the place a bit of a mess, but we got a litany of other shit to attend to."
Then he turned sharply and walked away. But just before saying one last thing.
"Oh and Rick, if Daryl does show up here, two days from now, two months from now...hell two years from now, just know there's no statute of limitations on this. Keep that hatchet handy, you're going to need it if he turns up with you people. And it won't turn out the way it did for your pretty little sister.
Saviors piled back into the trucks. Engines roared. The caravan rolled out of Alexandria as fast as it came.
Silence fell again — heavier this time.
Rick exhaled like he'd been holding his lungs hostage.
Tessa looked around at the destruction — furniture overturned, doors cracked, supplies missing. This wasn't just a check.
