// This is Chapter 6. Read this only if you have read "Shadows among us"
Helloooo...
The thought of uploading ten chapters at once is honestly too tempting for me. It really sucks for me too to wait that long to update at this point lol, but I need to stay calm. I know how hard it will be for me if I don't finish everything before the upload dates later.
Oh, and I have something else to share. Yesterday, I created a document for this book where I wrote down all the character's detail descriptions, every murder case, and how each character is connected to the others. And honestly, the goosebumps I got from the plot were insane. I'm genuinely excited for this book.
Being organised really does bring so much peace of mind.
The next update is on 14th December. Until then, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Present time again
It had been a while since Jisung had started typing on the computer. He took a deep breath before finally speaking his mind. "I've gathered some information about this murderer. I still can't pinpoint their gender yet, but based on the last two murders, I've concluded a few things." Everyone turned their attention to him.
"This person seems to enjoy killing in public, especially right in front of us, the police. Unlike other murderers, they're making a statement with every crime they commit. It's like they want us to witness it," Jisung explained.
Chan rubbed his temples and let out a frustrated sigh. "Usually, we rack our brains trying to find the murderer. But this one? I can't even begin to figure out how they're killing people, let alone why."
Jisung nodded in agreement. "From what I've seen, I suspect this person might be a scientist or at least working with one. The methods they're using to kill are far too clever and intricate. It feels like they've created these tools or techniques themselves."
"That makes sense," Changbin added.
"And about this latest case, there's no way that driver was operating the car without any blood in his body. The blood must've been removed after the accident."
"But that doesn't add up, Ji," Changbin countered. "There was a huge crowd around the car and the body right after the accident. No one could've gotten close enough to take the blood. It sounds impossible."
"Impossible seems to be the theme of this murderer," Chan muttered. "Even though I didn't get a good look at the driver during the crash, the car was taking sharp turns at full speed. Smoothly. There's no way the driver was struggling or injured at the time."
"What if the car was fully automated?" Jisung suggested. "What if it was programmed to follow us, and the murderer planted the body in the driver's seat? They might've even invented the car."
"That theory doesn't work," Changbin replied. "The driver's time of death matches the accident, and no one can stay alive or conscious without blood in their system."
"Exactly," Felix chimed in. "A body without blood would die in under four minutes because the vital organs wouldn't get oxygen."
"See? Even the med student agrees," Changbin said, gesturing toward Felix.
Chan groaned and pressed his fingers to his forehead. "I'm getting a migraine again." Everyone sighed in unison.
Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted their stressful brainstorming. The door creaked open, and Hyunjin peeked inside before stepping fully into the room.
