How long have you been on Wattpad for - About a year
How did you come up with your username?
I didn't put much thought into it at all - I'd just finished watching Ella Enchanted when I was signing up, and since that kind of fit my name, I decided to go for it.
What inspired you to start writing?
I loved reading, and writing short stories in English class wasn't homework to me. So I figured out how much I loved writing, and decided to go for it. I wrote a sci-fi book for my brother's birthday, and that was when I realized it's something I always want to do.
How did you discover Wattpad?
Through another site. It offered free e-books, and the site required you to have a Wattpad account to read the stories. For about six months I had a Wattpad account but I didn't use it. When the e-book site got closed down, my friend (ChocolateKLover) told me she'd been reading stories on here. So I started poking around and discovered just how amazing Wattpad is.
What is your favourite chapter or story that you have written?
I'd probably say Poisoned. I love historical fiction, and I love the events and the twisted plot. It's also my more mature story, so it's more precious to me than any of the others I've written. I've put more effort into it, and it's been more challenging than anything else, so I love it the best.
Do you think you have improved on your writing in the time you have been on Wattpad?
Absolutely. Without a doubt. YES! Haha, I was awful when I started writing. I'm so glad I practiced a bit before posting on Wattpad and making other people's eyes bleed by how terrible my cheesy plot lines and grammar and humor was. You can even see the difference between Ivy League and Their Paid Girl. They're both comedies, but I sort of lost the hyper randomness in TPG, something I always felt made Ivy League seem immature.
What is your favourite genre in stories?
Dystopian novels. You give me a dystopian story - ANY kind - and I will devour it and love it. Usually those have adventure and romance in them, so I guess I can say I love those genres too. But I've never yet met anyone who doesn't love a good comedy now and then, too!
Who was your favourite childhood Author?
Childhood? Whoa, I have to thing way back here... Oh, I remember! Haha, I had to Google it to remember the author's name. Gertrude Chandler Warner, for SURE. She was the one who wrote the Boxcar Children series. I still think she's brilliant, and she got me hooked on mysteries at age seven. It wasn't even cheesy, either: they were four orphans living in an abandoned boxcar, before finding their grandfather. And they solved mysteries together. I'm filled with nostalgia now :)
