Been on Wattpad for - Writing for about 3 months on here but reading for around 4 or 5 months
How did you come up with your username?
Snickers are my favorite candy bar (:
What inspired you to start writing?
I was always big on imagination and picturing scenes in my head even when I was younger. After reading some books I thought it was really awesome how the author could just transport me to another place and get me so involved that I'd tune out the real world. That inspired me to start trying it.
How did you discover Wattpad?
I honestly can't remember, thank you memory!
What is your favourite chapter or story that you have written?
The story would probably be You're a Crappy Teddy Bear, and then chapter would be the first chapter of Rebel One. But I have a lot of writing that I do that's not published on here and one of those would definitely have to be my all time favorite of my works.
Do you think you have improved on your writing in the time you have been on Wattpad?
Of course! I think every time I (or anyone else writes, for that matter) write, it has the chance to improve slightly.
What is your favourite genre in stories?
Romance and comedy. I'm a big sucker for things that make me laugh.
Who was your favourite childhood Author?
J.K Rowling and Scott Westerfeld
What do you enjoy most about writing stories?
Creating something from scratch and the imagination that goes into it.
Who are your favourite characters in your stories?
The one that makes me laugh the most at the time.
How did you choose the names for your characters?
I play around with names to see which ones fit and other times it just pops out of nowhere.
Do you base your stories on real life?
Nope, some bits may be taken from things that happened or were inspired by real life but they're very little and the majority of everything I write is fictional.
Do you want your work to be published?
That would be awesome!
What are your favourite stories on Wattpad at the moment?
Fighting to be free by kirsty1000, Never Be The Same Again (and its sequel) by lilly-rain, and I Sold Myself To The Devil For Vinyls... Pitiful I Know by DarknessAndLight.
Do you get writers block? If so, how do you overcome it?
I do get writers block and a lot of the time I'm lazy and don't write which isn't really overcoming it, haha. But when I do want to write I usually just power through it and write anyways, no matter how hard it is or I tell my friends "I'm writing today" and they'll hound me all day and see to it that I stick to my goal.
What do you prefer more? Reading or writing?
Definitely writing - I'm a control freak and you can't control much when you read, can you? But it comes in a close second.
How do you come up with your ideas?
A lot of them come to me at night in bed while I'm listening to music, if a certain lyric pops out to me. Or while in bed I'll start thinking of the characters and see how they would react with 'such and such' going on. Sometimes I have a piece of dialogue I want to use and I focus the 'such and such' situation around that. Brainstorming with my friends or on a rare occasion from a dream (which is how Rebel One came about).
Who is your favourite Wattpad writer at the moment?
If I had to pick just one, probably kirsty1000.
Has any of your family or friends read any of your stories?
One of my sisters reads the stories that I publish on here, and then I have a few friends that read other things that I've written and co-write with so yes. (:
Are you thinking of any new stories at the moment?
I'm always thinking about possible new plots and stories, I wish I could turn my brain off sometimes! But nothing that would be on Wattpad, at least for right now.
What is the most random fact about you?
Maybe not the most, but a random fact about me is that I cannot and I repeat, cannot have my socks matching. <3
