Liv's POV

It's Monday. I spent most of yesterday sleeping and studying with Harper. What a thrilling life I lead. We have our chemistry and english midterm today.

Don't get me wrong, I'm smart. Like top of my class smart, but I can't take tests for the life of me. I always get distracted and my mind wanders. That's why I hate testing. I'm extremely smart, but it doesn't show because I'm not a good tester.

I woke Harper up at 6:00. We have to be at school early today because we're on a different schedule. Our school is weird. Freshman take midterms one week, Sophmores the next, then Juniors (me), and finally Seniors.

It took a good 15 minutes before either of us actually got out of bed, dreading the day ahead. I let Harper use my shower while I went into the guest bathroom. When we were finished getting dressed, we both kind of looked like hobos. Harper wore baggy, UM sweatpants and an old volleyball shirt with her hair falling in her natural wave, Uggs, and no makeup. I was wearing sweats similar to Harper's but mine were Wisconsin. My grandpa played basketball for Madison in college. I had on a shirt I made for my brothers' baseball championship game last year, my hair up in a high pony tail, and my full-framed glasses.

After we were ready, we grabbed our bags and drove to school. When we got there we went up to our 3 other friends, Alex, Carly, and Gretchen. I took one look at them and smiled because they all looked just as shabby as we did.

"Oh, thank goodness. I thought I was going to be the only one who looked like she just walked out of a tornado!" Carly was a little dramatic.

Harper and I both put on our fake, offended looks before smiling and laughing. "We would never do something like that to you, Carls." Carly and I were almost always sarcastic towards one another. She giggled.

Harper looked like she was going to explode. "You guys are never going to believe what happened to Liv on Saturday!" She practically screamed.

Everyone looked at me with their "tell us now" look.

A huge smile formed on my lips. "You guys aren't going to believe me, but I met Justin this weeked!"

They all kind of had a shocked face, but then it turned to disbelief. They weren't beliebers like Harper and I were, but they respected him and liked his music for the most part and totally understood our love for him so they knew who I was talking about.

"No way!" Gretch said, half for real, half like I was lying.

"Yeah! He was in Target and I bumped into him!"

"This is crazy! What did you do? Was he everything you dreamed of and more?" Alex kind of laughed at herself.

" Well I didn--"

Harper cut me off before I could finish. "She didn't even talk to him! The only thing she said was thank you! Can you believe that? She met Justin Bieber and the only thing she could manage to say was thank you."

"I was shocked, okay?" I said, defending myself. I was kind of sick of hearing her getting upset over how I reacted when I met him. I think most of it was jealousy so I can understand.

"This is great! I'm so happy for you!" This time, Carly wasn't being sarcastic. I gave her an appreciative grin.

Alex and Gretchen were still acting like we were lying as a joke.

"Seriously, guys. Our best friend met Justin Bieber!" Haper assured them that it really happened.

I squeeled with a big smile, just about to say more, when Malachai came over.
