LIV'S POV

I've been in LA for two weeks now, and it's been really nice to just have time with Justin. We're figuring things out together and testing our limits with each other. It's good for us. He's had to go places without me and I the same, and we manage just fine.

Usually, if I'm not awake and out of bed by 11:30, Justin will call to wake me up. Today was one of those days. I heard my phone singing to me before I answered to an excited voice.

"Justin, slow down. I can't understand you."

"Sorry, uh, what are you doing tomorrow?" I could hear himself restrain from bursting with his secret.

"I'm gonna guess that I don't really have a choice?" I smiled, though he couldn't see me.

"Well, I mean, ultimately you have a choice, but I think you'll like the opportunity I'm about to present to you."

"What is it?" I yawned, not meaning to sound uninterested, just waking up yet.

"We, together, as a couple, were invited as guests on Ellen tomorrow. Together!" His voice was so cute I had to stifle a laugh.

It was easy to control once I realized what being on Ellen meant. "Like, on TV infront of all of America?"

"Yeah." He said completely unphazed.

"Fun..." I said trailing off as the perilizing fear set in.

"Baby, you're not actually nervouse about this, are you?" I could hear the concern, but it sounded more mocking than anything.

"Yeah, Justin, a little bit. I'm not world-famous and faced with this sort of thing everyday. I'm also not some dazzling conversationalist. I'm awkward and highly social situations are not my forte." I started rambling off the reasons for why Ellen would not be a good idea.

"Don't think of it as highly social, just think of it as meeting one of my good friends in a restraut setting-- there are people around, but they don't really matter." I knew he was trying to comfort me, but it wasn't working.

I took deep breaths, trying to rationalize with myself. "Okay, but I'm going to apologize in advance for what may happen."

He giggled and I couldn't help but smile. "You'll be fine. I'll be right there."

We made plans for a late lunch-- giving me time to get ready. I showered and threw my hair up into a bun before changing into maroon shorts with a sun on one leg and a moon on the other with a black tshirt that said the moon and the stars in French. I grabbed my sunglasses and car keys and headed off to Justin's.

I pulled into Justin's driveway and he walked out to meet me as we got into his car. "Are those the same glasses you were wearing when we met?" He smiled cheesily.

"Yeah, I think they are." I smiled as he kissed my cheek.

"Cute." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes playfully as we drove off to the restraunt. "So, what exactly does a famous person's non-famous significant other wear on Ellen?"

Justin laughed and then stopped once he realized I wasn't kidding. "First of all, while you may not be famous, you are well-known by thousands, if not millions, of people. Second of all, just wear something nice, but not like super extravegant. And don't show up in something you would have never worn had it not been for the show." He shrugged his shoulders like it was routine.

I sighed and nodded. We rode in comfortable silence before Justin parked the car and escorted me inside. We had a nice meal and spent the rest of the day shopping around-- getting bombarded by girls.
