It's cool to be popular, they say. It has its own perks, they say. You get the hottest guys, go to the best parties and hang out with the coolest people.
But what if to stay in that happening group, you have to tell an endless string of lies? What if for the sake of being loved a little in this life, you have to live two of them?
That is my life.
But hey, at least someone, SOMEONE, loves me, or at least shows that they do, even if it's a side effect of being intimidated by my popularity.
And that, for now, is enough for me. For someone with a dead mother and a living, alcoholic father, it was more than enough.
