Tess POV
The next morning, I woke up really early, yet refreshed and decided to go pull a prank.
Except this prank, will be different. I'm gonna pull it on the Gryffindors.
I quickly changed into leggings, combat boots, and my blouse and tie before grabbing sparkles rope, buckets, and honey.
I walked down to the common hoping to find no one, only to be stopped by the two idiots I call my best friends.
"Where do you-"
"Think youre going?" They asked.
"I'm pulling a prank now if you would excuse me.." I tried getting past them only for each one tongrab an arm and pull me back.
"Do you think we should let her go alone, Freddie?" George started.
"You know Georgie, I don-" Fred tried to finish until,
"You are not helping me with this
I thought of it, I'm doing it, no ifs or buts, okay? Now let me go!" I exploded and successfully pushed through.
I knew that if I told them no was pranking our house, that they would try to talk me out of it.
Once I arrived at the Great Hall, I went and stood on the table. I went to put honey in one bucket and charmed it to stick, glitter in another, also charmed go stick, and then multiplied those buckets so it would fit the tables. Then I levitated them and booked up the ropes. I made sure the buckets were high enough so someone wouldn't see but then dissalusioned them so they couldn't see them.
Then I heard people coming down the stairs and I hid and then made a break for the common room.
Once safely back I grabbed my book bag and robes and tucked my wand back in my book then went to have breakfast.
I sat down at the table and waited for almost the entire hall to be full so I could pull it.
I went and stood next to the door so I wasn't in the line of fire, and pulled the rope to let the buckets tip.
If a matter of seconds there were screams and shouts and a whole lot of sparkly Gryffindors.
I was doubled over in laughter along with almost all the hall, when I saw to tall figures standing away from the table.
The twins.
The screamed my name and then it started to quiet down considering people knew who pranked them, and Fred and George were probably about to kill me.
I picked up my stuff and bolted out and soon heard two set of footsteps coming after me. I was soon picked up by the waist and pinned go the ground when someone else used my greatest weakness against me.
Fred started heavily tickling me and I could barely breathe and I couldn't push him away due to George restraining me.
Fred finally let up after what felt like years and George helped me up.
I looked and saw George and Fred doing that weird twin talepathy thing.
Fred looked towards the wall so I looked at George. He looked kinda awkward and waited until I raised my eyebrows to say.
"I like...cheese" and then he ran off.
I tilted my head and furrowed my eyebrows confused and looked at Fred.
"Umm...Tess...uh..can we take a walk?" He asked very uncertain and..shy?
"Yeah of course" I replied and we started walking towards the door and out towards the black lake.
Once we were standing next to the water he took my hands in his so I was standing facing him.
He took a shaky breath and then started.
"Tess, I can't believe this is happening. I had the opportunity to kiss you and hold you, and I always want to be able to do this. I have liked you since second year and only recently have i acted on it. What I'm trying to say is Theresa Dudley, will you please be my girlfriend?"
I stood there absolutely shocked. I didn't know how to respond so I did the only thing that made sense.
I kissed him.
