Christian's POV

"♫Oh, won't you stay with me? 'Cause you're all I need ♪♪" Candice sang 'Stay with Me' by Sam Smith. After my talk with Dad, I came to the cafe to watch Candice sing. It actually feels like I'm the one who needs to sing this song to her...

"Hey Sweetheart!" I greeted her as she stood in front of me. She just smiled and hugged me. As she was burying her head in my chest, I asked, "You okay? Is something wrong?'

She shook her head and said, "Let's go home." I rubbed her arms, and we walked hand-in-hand toward the car.

As I was driving, I said, "Candice, change into something warm...we're going out tonight." Candice and I haven't really spent time together lately so, I decided we'd go out on a date tonight.

"Why? Where are we going?" she asked.

    "It's a surprise!"

    "I hate surprises," she said.

"Such a cliche answer. Originality is a must, Mrs. Knight." I called her Mrs. Knight because tonight, I want to feel like everything between us is real...like our marriage wasn't just a deal our parents made...like she's truly mine.

She smiled and rolled her eyes.

"We're going ice-skating!" Candice squealed, but then she frowned. "I don't know how to skate...I've never skated before."

"Well, there's always a first time for everything." I then helped her put on her skating shoes.

After that, we went on to the rink. "You know how to skate?" she asked.

I scoffed and said, "Of course I do!" I then showed her some of the things I can do on ice.

"Wow, I didn't think a guy like you would know how to skate," she said.

I blushed and just said, "Come on, I'll teach you how to skate."

     "You're blushing!" she pointed out.

"Well, it's your fault. You're always making me blush," Great, now I sound like a girl.

"You're cute when you blush," she said with a full-blown smile on her face. I'd do anything just to see Candice smile like that...even if it meant blushing like a little girl.

I grabbed her hand and said, "Whatever." I then taught her how to skate.

Candice and I are now walking around the amusement park. "If we were to have a child, I'd name him "Dumpling.""

I chuckled and said, "Why would you name our future child "Dumpling?"" Honestly, the fact that Candice thought that there's a possibility that we'd have a child gave me a sense of hope...oh well.

She shrugged and said, "Dumplings are cute."

"Well, for the sake of our future child's pride, we won't name him "Dumpling,"" I said.

"What? Why? Just imagine, our child''s name would be Dumpling Knight...that would be awesome!"

"Nope. No. Just no, Candice," I said while shaking my head.

"Kill-joy," she muttered. After a few seconds, she blurted out, "Christian, it's so cold!"

I smiled and said, "One warm hug coming right up, Mrs. Knight."

She giggled as I wrapped my arms around her. "You're like a cuddly bear," she said.

I pulled away from our hug and scoffed. I flexed my bicep and pointed it, "This is not cuddly bear material."

She hugged me and buried her face in my neck. "I don't care. You're still my cuddly bear," she said.

I felt the heat rise up to my cheeks as I wrapped my arms around her once again.

Candice and I are now lying on our bed, talking about random stuff. "Christian, do you really love me?" Candice asked as she looked up to me.

"Of course I do. In fact, even when you were annoying, I loved you. Even when you're ruining my macho persona by making me blush, I still love you." I paused and sighed. "And even if one day, you'll leave me, I'm still going to love you," I said as I stared at her eyes.

"You know, you're cheesy," she said and then kissed my cheek. And for the third time tonight, Candice, made me blush.
