Prologue

Stranger's POV

Standing by a tree a few meters away from the east of the small town church, I felt the warm breeze blow past me as I watched a beautiful girl in a white dress stand before the closed doors. The morning sun rained down on her veil-covered face as she looked down on her bouquet of red roses. She took a deep breath, and the doors finally opened. Tears threatened to spill as her honey-colored eyes lit up with excitement and joy the moment she saw the man waiting inside. She looked glorious. She tucked a loosened brown curl behind her ear and then began her walk down the aisle.

I never took a peak at what was happening inside the church. After all, I was just a bystander who was able to witness the moment before the bride walked down to her happy ever after.
