The next morning I woke up, hearing the birds chirping outside. I stretched myself and looked at my alarm. In bright red it showed that it was eight in the morning. I was sure I set my alarm at 7:30, but apparently it didn't go off. Now I only had half an hour to put on some clothes, do my makeup, brush my hair and teeth and eat, but there wasn't enough time for all of that. If I skipped breakfast, I could make it to the first class. Great, now I had to go to class with a growling stomach. How great was that going to be.

I stepped out of bed and picked some clothes to wear. It looked warm outside, so shorts and a red flowy top would do fine. I slid in a pair of brown cowboy boots and walked over to the bathroom to do my makeup. I applied some eyeliner and mascara on my eyes. Of course, I gave my lips a red color, matching the color of my top. I brushed my hair, but with my curls it was hardly possible. But I didn't like to not brush my hair, so I did what I could do. After that I brushed my teeth and packed my bag to go to class. Just as I wanted to go, the door opened with a bang. In the doorstep stood Sammi, with Ethan behind her.

'Catch,' Sammi said and she tossed me something brown.

Immediately, I went into panicking mode. I never caught anything. Literally never. I held out my hand and tried to keep my eyes open. I saw a brown thing coming my way and prepared myself for the landing. You can do this, I told myself, but deep inside I knew I couldn't.

The thing came closer and closer until there was nothing else I could do but try to catch. Well, here it goes. I closed my eyes for a second, hoping to still catch it, and I felt something land in my hand.

'I caught it?' I asked surprised.

Sammi and Ethan laughed and nodded their heads.

'Oh, wait, I forgot that you were the queen of clumsiness,' Ethan grinned.

I remembered bumping into him and grinned at him. Sammi gave us both a weird look. She didn't know we already met.

'I'll explain it on the way,' I said to her and I looked in my hand. I saw a bread roll and smiled. 'Thanks for the bread roll.'

'Yeah, you were sound asleep and I didn't want to wake you. I wasn't sure you would wake up in time for breakfast, so I thought I'd bring you something,' she said smiling.

I took a bite and for a moment I was in heaven. It tasted so good, I couldn't describe it. Maybe it was the hunger talking, but this was the best bread roll I had ever tasted.

'Julliete, are you coming?'

Sammi voice woke me up from my bread roll dream.

'Yeah, yeah,' I said, taking another bite.

I heard Ethan and Sammi both laughing, probably making fun of me. I must have looked pretty stupid. Eating the delicious bread roll, I grabbed my phone and my key and closed the door behind me.

'Welcome everybody to your first class of today. I am Miss Ryder and I am teaching you all you need to know about reading music. This is also the only class where we have blended every student attending this year's program, including the freshmen and sophomores.'

Miss Ryder was standing in front of the class. Behind her was a big digital school board. The rest of room looked like a normal classroom, just like the ones we had in high school. There where tables with two chairs behind them and currently I was the only one sitting alone. Sammi and Ethan where both in a different class for this course, but someone else was in the same class as me. Just my luck, the girl who blackmailed me and already hated my guts was in my class. Kylie was sitting next to a dark haired girl, whose name I didn't know. Fine by me, as long as that devil left me alone.
