After losing all my bearings, I collected myself and reminded myself to be strong for Stephanie and Taylor.

I stood by my sister's side, and gave ideas to the girls on things to write to their mom, and about how much they loved her.

"Aunt Hayley?" Stephanie looked up at me, with her big glossy brown eyes. She was the spitting image of Annie.

"Yes?" I looked at her intently.

"Will Mommy be okay?" her lip started to quiver.

I bit my lip. "I certainly hope so! Your mom is a very strong woman, she'll push through it," I said, and held out my arms. Stephanie burst into tears and hugged me the tightest she ever had. Taylor saw her older sister crying, so naturally she started wailing.

"Oh, goodness," Hunter scooped Taylor up in his arms, and he started crying too.  When I saw Hunter crying, I lost it. We all group hugged.

"What's going on?" A faint voice asked. All of us turned around in shock. Annie was awake!

"Mommy!" Stephanie ran to hug her mother. Taylor wiggled out of her dad's arms and ran to her mom.

"Oh, my precious little girls. I love you both so much," Annie embraced her daughters, and a tear rolled down her cheek. "Hayley! I'm so glad you're here!"

I hugged my sister and I whispered in her ear "Hang in there," She smiled at me.

"I missed you so much, Hay,"

"I missed you too,"

Just as I said that, there was a soft knock at the door. "Come in," Hunter called.

Caleb and my parents rounded the corner and my parents both rushed to Annie's side. Caleb came up to me and gave me a hug. "It's good to see you, Bratayley," he winked at me. I laughed. Caleb always knew how to brighten someone's day, even in the worst of situations.

I looked over at Annie and she was already asleep again.

"That's funny... she was just awake 30 seconds ago," I commented.

"Well she needs her rest for the surgery tomorrow," Hunter said meekly.

"Surgery?" My dad asked. My mom put a hand over her mouth.

"Yes... brain surgery."

Wow! Happy Ten Year's Later Tuesday! Sorry for the short and bad quality chapter. A bunch of my work got deleted... so I was in a rush to get something up.

Anyways, do you think Annie will make it? How will the surgery go? Comment down below and you just might get a shoutout next Tuesday!
