The next morning I woke up feeling better than the night before. Something was still bothering me though. Candice left with Bradley for the honeymoon. Bradley tried to cheat on her! And he was with her right now, acting like nothing happened. It made me furious. Who does he think he is to approach me like he did yesterday? I felt disgust not only towards Bradley but also towards myself. I know I did nothing. It just feels wrong because he is my sister's husband. I was a part of that whether I wanted it or not. At the thought of it, shivers of disgust ran through my body.
I thought about it for a moment and I decided not to tell my sister, at least not now. They just got married and I don't think Candice will believe me anyways.
I took a deep breath and sat on my bed. A little caramel fur ball jumped in my face to get my attention. Meet my dog, Luna. I needed to walk her this morning. After a couple of minutes, I finally stood up to start my day. I quickly changed in some comfy clothes before heading out with Luna. I needed my coffee and breakfast, now.
At the coffee shop, every employee knows me. I am always there to write or to get some breakfast. Seriously, it is like my second house. This time, Gabby was waiting for me. She made a sign to get my attention from behind the counter.
-The usual for Krystel.
She gave me a smile and gave a treat to Luna.
-Thank you! Have a good day Gabby.
I swear these people love my dog. Luna is like their mascot.
I decided that I had time to have a nice walk in the park. It was only 6:46 A.M. I had plenty of time to get ready after my walk with Luna. I loved my neighborhood because of the proximity of parks, ports, book stores and coffee shops. My apartment was in a pretty steep hill and I had an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I had everything except for a car, when I was out of options I had to take my bike. Trust me, riding a bike in a city like San Francisco was a real curse. I only used it when I really had to.
I sat down on a bench to drink my coffee. As I looked to Luna, I saw her taking the opportunity to make a run for it. When I stood up to start chasing her, I bumped into someone and all my coffee poured on my white shirt.
-Shit, I am sorry.
A guy about my age was rushing to go somewhere when he hit me, making a real mess on my shirt. There was something about him that bothered me. Oh yeah, the fact that he did not sound sorry at all. He could not care less. I think he mainly excused himself because that is the thing a polite human being would do. I murdered:
-Save it.
-I said I'm sorry.
I observed him. He had green eyes and dark brown hair. The stranger was attractive, I could not deny it. He had a very pale skin with small beauty dots across his face that looked more like freckles. But that jaw line though. Anyways, I was getting away from my point. As attractive as he was, he did not look one bit sorry.
I did not answer him. I simply gave him my empty coffee cup and started running after Luna. I don't know why I never trained my dog. She liked it when I was chasing her around. She was enjoying it too much. After 10 minutes of chasing Luna and looking like a fool in public with my shirt stained, I finally caught her and returned home.
I still had to go to work. I let out a deep sigh. When will I be able to quit this job? I was very impatient to find a new job just so I could be free from Ms. Wellington.

-Krystel, you are fired.
My eyes widened in surprise. She had a very grave look on her face. But I could see that little smile she was trying to suppress. I shifted uncomfortably in my chair.
