I was desperately watching the video over and over. I still can't believe they actually recorded me having the biggest fail of my life. Ok, I know that there are many other fails in my life, but this is just embarrassing. The number of views was rapidly growing in front of my eyes. From 100,000 views to now 2,000,000 views.
I looked around me. And boy do I wonder what is actually happening. I was in a room where many people were watching the video. They all turned their face from the screen to me with poker faces. All of a sudden, they all start to laugh their heads off and pointing at me. I then start screaming at them to stop. They are so impolite. I am now quickly running around the room, looking for a door. Their fingers follow me, still pointing in my direction no matter where I go. Their laughter is buzzing in my head and I put my hands on my ears. I just want to leave this place, but where is the door? I continue frantically searching for that damn door that I can't seem to find. I then see a ladder in the corner of the room. My eyes spot a door at the top of the ladder. Without questioning myself any further I start climbing up the ladder and hurriedly open the door. I just want to be out of here!
I enter a new room and as soon that I close the door behind me everything goes silent. I even can hear the sound of silence. I look around. It's a waiting room.
I am in a waiting room, I repeat to myself.
All the seats are empty. I am the only here. A poster is placed on the wall and I can read: 'Please wait.' I unsurely direct myself to a seat. What am I supposed to do now? Just wait?
I then woke up to the buzzing sound of my phone. Thank god this is only a dream. It was a horrible dream. A freaking nightmare. I lazily seat in my bed and stretch my arms. I glance to my phone and see I got a text from... Ethan. Well, this is unexpected. I open my phone to see his message:
-I think I owe you coffee. And I keep my promises. :)
I smile at this. It's actually sweet. I normally take my coffee alone because Mallory does not like it. I don't mind being alone, but it's always nice to have a coffee buddy. I quickly type an answer:
-You also owe me a shirt. :)
-Don't push it.
-While we are at it I would also like to have a new apartment.
-And I would like for you to accept my offer for coffee.
-I don't know...
Ok, so maybe I wanted to annoy him a little now that I have the upper hand on this. I was actually flattered he took the time to ask me out, but I was not going to admit it.
-Do it, just do it. (Shia Laboeuf)
Oh. My. God. I can't believe he just said that. I started laughing and decided to quit fooling around and tell Ethan I really couldn't even though I wanted to.
-No, but seriously I can't. I currently am in Maine.
-Wait, wat.
My phone started ringing and I saw it was Ethan calling.
'What do you mean you can't?' He abruptly said as soon as I answered.
'I can't meaning I can't. I'm at my grandmother's.' I say in a matter of fact tone.
'You could have told me.' I could imagine him frowning.
'Yeees, I know. But I enjoy annoying people. Giving false hope. You know, the usual.'
'I can see that. I guess I'll just choose a different girl in my long contact list...'
Hey, that's mean. I frowned at his statement.
