Hellooooo!

I hope you enjoy this chapter and have a really nice day. :)

***

It was now the end of the date and Jeremiah was stopping the car in front of his house. He let out a sigh, the kind of sigh you let after a big day. I unbuckled my seatbelt at the same time that he did. I looked up to him to realize he was gazing at me intently.

-What? I asked.

He did not answer and simply got out of the car. Jeremiah made his way to my side and opened the door for me.

'Thank you.' I said, still amused by his manners. Why did he not act like that every day? I wondered to myself.

He smiled brightly, despite the fact that he seemed pretty tired. I like how Jeremiah does not always have a smile plastered on his face. But when he does smile, it seems genuine. I closed the door of the car behind me and tried to act cool by leaning my back on it.

Yeah... it didn't really work out, because in case you didn't know, nothing I do is cool.

It just looked like I was waiting for him to kiss me, so I stood up again.

It was not what I had in my mind. I don't know why though. Jeremiah is a nice guy, but he is a great friend. There is an emphasis on the word friend. I just can't picture anything more. I don't know what he thought about our date... Did he wanted to give it another go? At the same time, I hope and hope not. I hope because we had such a great time and everyone enjoys going on dates, right? But I hope not because I am kind of leading him on and it's not fair.

I felt him staring at me again and I looked up to him. In case you didn't know, Jeremiah is taller than me by at least one head. So I am always looking up to him. I tilted my head to the side and clenched nervously my fists on my bag.

I don't know why but at this moment, I imagined that it was Ethan that was looking at me. I just could see those intriguing eyes of his. Ethan is a real mystery to me. I think it is because he is outgoing but I also feel like there is so much more under his teasing attitude...

I shook vigorously my head. What am I doing?! I am on a date with Jeremiah and I keep wondering what it would have been like with Ethan. I don't want to be that kind of girl and it's not respectful for Jeremiah.

I forced a smile when I met Jeremiah's brown eyes. He seemed weirded out by the fact that I shook my head like that in the middle of his sentence. He repeated when he saw I wasn't listening:

'I was wondering if you would want to do this again some time?'

Aaaaah. He was so cute and he really didn't seem sure about this. I could feel he was hoping for me to say yes and at the same time he had a sour expression on his face because he was uncertain.

How could I say no to this guy? I had a great time and who am I to tell him no after we had so much fun? C'mon Krystel just say yes already. My inner voice told me. I really should stop giving everything so much thought.

I quickly nodded before saying with a little too much enthusiasm than I wanted to give him. 'Yes! I would love too!'

He smiled again and his cheeks became chubby. I just want to squish them.

'Alright. I'll tell you when and where next week. Meanwhile, you'll be working at the bar?'

'Yes, thank you again for helping me finding a job.' I said more calmly this time and I got on my tip toes to give him a hug. 'And thank you for the date. I had a great time and now I am part of Miley Cyrus' world.' I said with amusement. I let go of him and he laughed at what I said.
