So today I woke up and I decided I would write after going for a walk with Luna. Then, I would go grocery shopping and meet up with Aurora at a coffee shop in the afternoon.

Let's be real here: That was what I planned to do.

But, actually I cancelled everything. I currently am still in my pajamas and I have been watching old DVDs of soap opera that I found in a box. Yep, I was watching DVDs. It took me a while to remember how it worked, but I finally figured it out and I haven't moved for hours from my spot in the big sofa chair.

It was the story of a famous family in the 1800s. There were two parents who despised each other, because they were a part of a forced marriage. They had five kids: the oldest son was very intelligent, the second oldest daughter was beautiful but didn't have much brains, the third oldest was a daughter and she was always being sassy to everyone and then there were the twins: two devilish little boys. Of course, I can't forget the grandma that was always cranky. (She is my favorite character.)

They had to go undercover because the secret services were after them. They had an old family necklace that some bad guy wanted really bad because he was convinced it was the key to a portal to another world. Basically, they all get the new identity of a poor family in a new town on the complete other side of their country. Those snobby characters all have to get used to their new way of living and let's face it: it is very hard for them.

Now, I was to the part were the villain appeared knocking at their small house. As you can imagine, I was feeling very stressed about that. What if the villain recognizes them?

At this very moment, I reached for a marshmallow in the lucky charms cereal box I was keeping on my lap. But I realized I ate all the marshmallows in the box. I let out a huge sigh of defeat.

Maybe I should do something else with my day. I looked at my phone: it was 5:52 PM. It was almost time for supper.

Wait a minute.

I have a date with Jeremiah!

And at like 6:00 PM.

'Oh my god.' I said in disbelief as I sprang up the couch and went up the stairs as quickly as I could. As soon as I reached my room, I took my leggings and a long comfy sweater. I braided my hair in a messy braid. I frowned when I say in the mirror how tired I look. It's temporary, I told myself. I'll get my beauty sleep and everything will be alright. I was about to put makeup on, but then I realized that it shouldn't matter if I put some on or if I decide not to. So, I simply took my poncho, my boots and my purse. I went back downstairs and headed to the kitchen to take coffee before Jeremiah arrived.

My grandmother was sitting in the kitchen reading a book. She did not even raise her head to look at me, she simply said:

'You forgot about your date with Jeremiah? Or am I mistaken?'

I let out a small sigh and took a seat in front of her.

'No, you are not.'

She raised her head to look at me and had a knowing smile on her face.

'Those soap operas are just so addictive.'

I laughed a little to myself, knowing that my grandmother had over twenty series of soap operas.

Then, the doorbell rang. I quickly went to open the door. I saw Jeremiah on the doorstep with a cute, but shy and nervous smile on his face. His light brown curls hid a little his big chocolate eyes.

'Hi.' I said.

'Hey. So are you ready?'

I realized I forgot my purse in the kitchen.
