The Journey Begins

Once again I am really sorry that I haven't updated my story in a long time. I have still been really busy with school since I have a lot of finals coming up. However,  I finally finished this chapter!   :D

So I decided to dedicate this particular chapter to the very first fan of Being a Starkid! and that person is.....StarkidGleek101!!! Thank you so much for sticking with this crazy story and I am really sorry for everything I have said. Keep on reading StarkidGleek101!

Jenny's P.O.V

It was a few days after the Starkid concert and all anybody could talk about was the fact that Darren was not there. According to the news (the Starkid news) nobody had seen Darren since the night of the concert. They said that he went for a drive and never came back. It makes me very concerned knowing that he has disappeared.

I need to get my mind on something else so I head into the my living room to watch TV. When I turn it on, I find a report on Darren's disappearance. I just can't get away from this story...

"People everywhere are talking about the actor's mysterious disappearance," the news lady said to the camera. "Nobody knows where he went when he drove off Saturday night, we talked to his fellow starkids and all they could tell us was that he seemed a bit tense after seeing someone in the parking lot that night."

Wait...what? Someone in the parking lot?? I was in the parking lot when he saw me. Could I be the reason why he went on that drive? No...there were other people in the parking lot, it could be anybody...

"He was looking at this girl who was across the parking lot from where we were standing," Joey Richter told us, "when he rejoined the conversation, he was really distracted and pale and I mean more than usual. Then he went on a drive and never came back and he said that he would be back in time for the show."

"Who was this mystery girl and is she connected to our actor's disappearance? A full investigation behind this mystery is underway. Now back to you Brad."

*Silence*

It was me. I am the reason why Darren went on that drive. The only question is...why? Why did he react that way from seeing me? I am a nobody compared to him...I am even a nobody compared to my classmates. What makes me so special? My thoughts were soon interrupted by a knock on the door.

I open it to find Anne standing in the doorway with tears running down her face.

"Anne, what's wrong?" I ask as she steps inside.

"It's...it's...it's Darren!" she screamed "He is missing!"

"Anne, Anne I know! I just saw the news!" I explained as I tried to calm her down. "Darren probably got lost or is staying somewhere, like a hotel."

That seemed to comfort her a bit. "But everybody knows who he is. Don't they?? How can someone like Darren go two whole days without anybody seeing him?" Anne quickly glanced at her phone and became very tense. "I have to go. Bye Jenny."

Before I could say anything back, she had already disappeared into the night. That was weird. Not the fact that she suddenly left because she does that all the time. But she has never called me Jenny before, even when we first met she has always called me Jen. Something must be seriously wrong.
