Being a Starkid

VERY IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE

Dear Readers,

        I know this is not an update and I'm really sorry about that. :( This author's note is to explain to you (my readers) why I have not updated in forever. I am not trying to make excuses or make you guys feel bad for me, I just think you guys have a right to know.

        This past year was very hard for me. In July...I attempted suicide (due to reasons that would take a book to say). I never told anybody about it...not even my parents. I just felt like I was suffering alone and that nobody would understand. The months continued to pass and as time went on, I started to feel even worse about myself. So...I attempted again in November and this time, I went to find help. I found support from friends, family, and professors. I even started going to see a counselor and doctor who ended up diagnosing me with depression. I am doing better now but there is still that feeling that I don't belong here and there probably won't be another update of "Being a Starkid" for awhile, at least till I can get my life back on track. 

        If any of you have ever gone through something like this or are going through it now and need someone to talk to, don't be afraid to message me. I am always here for you guys! I know how hard it can be to feel worthless and alone. But I want you all to remember Darren's words "You're Not Alone." They definitely helped me get through my darkest time. 

        I hope to have another chapter up as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding and please no hateful comments on this author's note....I don't know if I could handle it...and like I said, I am not looking for your sympathy...I just figured that my readers had a right to know why I disappeared...
