"I am so confused, Brittany." I whined again as we talked about Lucas. I started from the beginning to this morning. I didn't know he transferred in our school so I was shocked when he went with me here in school. Personally speaking, even though I am just fifteen minutes away from school, mother insisted that I am going to school riding my damn car, which actually Mr. Orlov driving it for me.

Yes, my mother hired a driver. I am just cheeky to asked her if she even wanted to hire bodyguards who are going to watch me but as being the smart woman, she just gave me a stern look made me rolled my eyes in annoyance. "Really mum?" Was the last words I ever said to her throughout the trillion times of discussing about hiring people for me.

Brittany rolled her eyes on me before leaning her hands above the table. "I would say that you two know each other long time ago but sadly you won't remember anything about it." I sighed before opening my mouth but she cut me off. "What kind of memory bank do you have? Or do you even have one?" She chuckled.

"Seriously?!"

"Oh just admit it, Lev."

"Fine!" I surrendered.

"Why don't you ask Clyne? He's your cousin and he definitely knows everything." She suggested. Of course! Arclyne! We grew up together and he knows everything!

"Oh my gosh! You're really clever, Brit!" I clasped my hands in front of me as I smiled widely. "Where is he anyways?" I looked around but failed to see any signs of him.

"He's working on his papers at office. There's been a fuss about Daniel asking him out but Clyne doesn't answered him. That kid surely will be the first celebrity, you know." She said shaking her head.

"He's already a celebrity, Brit."

"That was what I said." She retorted.

"If he's working on his papers, why are you here?" I narrowed my eyes at her but she didn't fell for it. Brittany also a writer in our school together but they're on different fields. Arclyne writes mostly about the school plays, sports events and in editorial while Brittany is on school magazine. She's also the one who interacts with the school planners and make announcements for coming events by placing on the bulletin board. Arclyne asked me last year if I want to join the school paper but I know in myself that I am not really into their thing and that kind of brain, too.

Being smart isn't always that meant that I know everything. I know my limitations.

She stood up, slung her bag on her shoulder before saying, "Actually I'm going now. I just stopped by because I sensed you needed me which turned out a big Yes but I hope you don't confuse your mind now. You just have to figure it out on your own." She is about to go when she turned around again. "Oh, talk to Lucas if you want answers and explanations." And by that, she left me.

I couldn't just do that. This lad, I don't know him or remember anything about him. So how am I going to ask him about him?

My thoughts leave me out in space that I didn't even noticed the ringing of the bell signalling the lunch break is over. I quickly grabbed my things then rushed out of cafeteria.

The remaining time in school went by just as normal as it is everyday and still no signs of Lucas.

School was over and I am still in the gates waiting for the rain to stop. The day started with a bright sunny day but what happened? It just poured and it's freaking cold. I forgot my jacket, no umbrella and no car, too. Where is Mr. Orlov anyway?

My phone buzzed under my pocket making me sigh in annoyance. "Hello?" I lazily answered.

"Hey, it's me, Lev." Said the other voice over the phone. "I'll pick you up." He said before I frowned dropping my phone.

He never changed. Oh Arclyne...

A black car stopped in front of me and I smiled when Arclyne's face came showed inside the car. His black hair is still on its finest and those two black orbs he has making all the bi, gays and girls calling him "The Black Diamond".

"I'm happy you're giving me a lift today." I cheerfully says while entering the vehicle. "I have a question, Clyne." I turn to look at him and see a weak smile pestered on his face.

"Brittany told me about this. You really don't remember him?" He roared the engine then hit the road. "Lucas Greene. Aunt Lizzie's only son. From Essex. The boy who kissed you when you fell from the swing." I try to remember anything from that embarrassing moment though.

Lucas Greene. But I was too young then, so how could I remember that?

"I don't." I said honestly.

"Alright." He dismissed before driving me home. The drive was silent and I didn't tried to make any conversation with my cousin although I know what he's going to say is much more that I can think of. He's so straightforward. He can say whatever on his mind.

I walked down the path while grabbing my keys on my pocket when someone bumped me from my left side. Almost loosing my balance, two strong firm hands grab me to my waist sending an unknown shivers down to my spine, making all my senses dysfunction for a moment. His touch that once seemed familiar to me.

When was the last time I felt this kind of touch?

"Alright, Lev?" He said snapping me out of my stance. Lucas. "I'm sorry. I didn't meant bumping into you. I was out of sight and didn't saw you." He explained with a concern tone on his voice. Well that's new.

I am amazed to his behaviour. He's not like this when we first met but all rude and too arrogant, I must remark.

I made myself and face him with a reassuring smile saying, "It's good, Lucas. Don't worry. We should get inside." I offered. He nods and saw a glimpse of light on his both blue orbs.

We walked in the house and the smell of Western European fumed almost the atmosphere. Just like my father. I was about to go upstairs when Lucas called me.

"Ugh... Levy?"

"Yes?"

"You don't remember me, really?" I turn my heels to him.

"I... I really... Don't, Lucas. I'm sorry." Aside from what Arclyne told me about you kissing me when I fell from the swing. I want to add but... "Look, you can tell me anything or something that I might remember involving me and you and whoever, anyways."

"Just... Nevermind, Levy." He stalked outdoor leaving me confused and felt a sudden guilt.

Why?

Night came quickly as I haven't noticed it in the first place because of the homeworks I tried to finish. Mrs. Gibbs called for dinner and I just said that I'm coming down in a moment. When I was on the last paper, a sudden knock banged my door. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "Mrs. Gibbs, just a moment. I'm coming. Last paper here!" I shouted, hopefully she heard me. Then the knock stopped.

My door cracked open slowly making me turn my head and raised a brow to the person who just disturbed me. I couldn't take my eyes off of the person who just entered my room with a tray on his both hands with full of food.

"I... I brought you... Y-your d-dinner..." He shyly said before exiting quickly my room.

Well... That's one of a kind... I mean, I am speechless, though. I am shocked.

I am amazed. What happened to annoying Lucas?

I don't know how but I am now sitting in my bed facing the tray of food Lucas's delivered just a minute ago. Maybe there's a poison on it?!

Oh God, please no! Maybe there's a hidden rotten food mixed in these? What am I thinking? Lucas wouldn't do it? Is he?

What caught my attention most was the small piece of paper under the apple. What could it be?

I pick the paper then read, silently, what's written on it.

Levy,
I'm sorry about our first meeting. Please let's start a new one, maybe friendship? If you agree, please meet me tomorrow at school's gate after classes.

                                           Lucas.
