My mum and dad suddenly knock on my door and walk in.
They sit next to me on my bed and say something I was hoping to not hear for a while.
" Chloe, we enrolled you in school. "
And with those words it felt like I had been hit by a brick.
" WHAT?! " I screamed.
My parents were really shocked with the way I shouted, but my mum's face quickly softened and she said, " Sweetie, I don't see what's wrong. I thought you loved school. "
Right, I forgot, I haven't told my parents. I haven't told them that I only had two friends at school. They always thought I had more friends. But then again, how would they know? I always was very secretive with my parents. I never told them anything, I just kept everything from them.
" Uhhh, yeah of course. I'm sorry, I just overreacted. " I said awkwardly.
" Great, you will start at Richwood Academy on Monday. We will go shopping for stuff for school in an hour, so make sure you are ready. " mum says with a smile.
I just plaster yet another fake smile on my face and nod. And with that my parents get up and leave my room, thankfully closing my door behind them.
When the door shuts, I groan and bury my head on my pillow. In two days I have to go to school. Just great.

My mum parked the car in an available space and we got out of the car. She brought me to a mall to buy things for my new school.
We walk in and instantly she grabs my hand.
" What are you doing mum? " I chuckle.
" We have a lot to buy, let's go! " my mum says.
I laugh as she drags me through crowds of people. She finally ends up stopping in front of a shop with lots and lots of clothes. I was very confused as to why she had stopped in front of a shop with clothes, I thought we would just be getting a whole bunch of stationary.
My mum reads my mind and says, " You are going to a free-dress school. "
My face instantly brights up and a genuine smile plasters on my face. It seems like it's been ages since I've genuinely smiled. I've always wanted to go to a free-dress school. I've always felt that I can express myself more in my own clothes. I hated the idea of everyone wearing the same exact uniform.
I run into the store and grab so many clothes at once. I run straight into the change rooms and instantly start trying everything on.
This will be a very long day.

My mum and I finally walk out of the mall... after 4 hours.
We walk out with bags from a very big variety of stores.
Bags cover both of our arms as we hold a Starbucks cup in our free hand.
We bought lots and lots of clothes and accessories. Hair accessories, bags, makeup, shoes, shirts, shorts, flannels, jeans, dresses, jewellery and of course we got lunch.
When we reach the car, my mum unlocks it and opens the boot. We plop the bags in, close the boot and walk to the door of the car. We open the door and sit down, exhausted.
My mum starts up the car and I plug in my phone to the speakers.
The whole ride home I blasted my music through the car speakers and my mum and I just jammed the whole way home.
When we finally get home, my mum comes up to my room with me and we sort out all the new stuff we bought.
We put the jewellery with all my other jewellery. We put all my new clothes in my walk in wardrobe and we either put them into groups of clothing or groups of outfits. We put my new shoes in my shoe drawer and, the makeup and the hair accessories on my makeup desk.
It took one whole hour to sort everything out, but in the end, I had amazing things to wear and they were all neatly sorted out.
I lay on my bed and closed my eyes, I was exhausted.
A billion thoughts raced through my mind while I lay on my bed.
What would the school be like? Would there be bullies? Did people there express themselves? Was the people there friendly? Would it be hard to make new friends? Is it a very accepting school? Are the people there kind, generous or helpful?
All these thoughts and many more crossed my mind as I drifted to sleep.
Tomorrow I'm going to just relax at home, because it will be the last day that I have full freedom and no school at all.
I guess I'm just going to have to see what the school and the people there are like on Monday.
