He finally got a good glimpse of me, "Chloe?"
"Luke?"
Matt suddenly piped in, "You two know each other?"
Both the boy standing in front of me and I just continuously stare at each other for what seems like forever.
Quickly enough though, he looks away, but I just can't take my eyes off of him.
Soon enough, Katy coughs awkwardly to stop me from just spending the whole day staring at this boy.
Finally, I look down awkwardly at my hands. It feels like the whole room went silent, but really everyone is chatting away, but the whole world around me blurs, and the only thing in my vision is him.
I suddenly stand up and look at him square in the face. Before anything else can be said, I embrace him in my arms and hug him. He holds me tight as if it would be the last time he would hold me in his arms. We just stand there, embracing each other in our arms.
Another awkward cough escapes Katy's mouth and we let go of each other.
A few tears trickle down my check but he is quick to catch them.
" I can't believe it's you, after all this time, you are finally standing right in front of me." I manage to get out.
He smiles a big toothy smile, the one I've missed all these years. " After 4 long years, Clodes is back! "
I chuckle as that was his nickname for me that he made up in second grade and it feels like it's been forever since he used it.
" Okay can someone please explain what is going on, because right now I think we are all confused." Phil mentions.
"Care to explain Lucas?" I grin. He pokes his tongue out in reply, he hated it when I called him that because it wasn't his full name. In first grade, someone asked him if his full name was Lucas and I couldn't help but burst out into laughter. Since then, I've always called him Lucas just to tease him.
"We have been friends since we were 3, but I had to move with my family to California when I was 13. We never forgot each other, we talk almost everyday. We just haven't seen each other for 4 years, it's been a long time." Luke explained.
"I knew Luke was still in California, but I had no idea he was going to the same school as I just started at, but I'm so glad he is because I'm so happy to be with my best friend again!" I exclaim in glee.
"Aww you two are so cute, I'm glad you both got to meet in real life again!" Clare squealed.
I giggle a bit at Clare and she winks at me, as she signals for everyone else to leave Luke and I to be alone for a bit.
We talk continuously until the end of lunch bell rings. We found out that we are actually in all the same classes but the reason I didn't see him at all this morning was because he came late. We talk about everything and it honestly is so amazing to be with my best friend again.

At the end of the school day, Luke, Matt, Phil, Katy and I all climb on to the same bus. The others don't take the bus home but we all found out that we live in the same area, it's like all of this was some big coincidence.
We decided to stop by Luke's place and all stay there for a bit, so I quickly shoot my mum a text saying I'll be home late.
When we arrive, Katy pulls me aside almost instantly, "Soooooooo..." she says raising her eyebrows.
I give her a confused and questioning look.
"Have you seen anyone you like?" she winks at me.
I chuckle a bit as I shake my head, "I've only been at this school for one day!"
"Who knows, you could be a Disney princess, look at someone, fall mad in love, ask my permission to get married, then I say no and freeze everywhere with my ice powers because you pulled off my glove!" she smiles, obviously trying to hide her laughter.
I stare at her for a split second and then completely burst into a fit of laughter. Soon enough, she can't hold in her laughter and we laugh together at the loudest volume possible, with snorts filling the air.
The boys all run over because we end up lying on the floor and still laughing.
"What's so funny?", Luke chuckles.
In between laughter we are able to get out a muffled, "nothing" but we say it in sync so it only makes us laugh more.
"What will we do with you two?" Phil laughs.
