Mom is so passionate when it's about me. But sometimes i hate it. " Khole, you have to get a hold of yourself else you are going to be late to college. Remember today's your first time there and i want you to rock that body of yours in college today" mom said sarcastically.
C'mon mom, you are not 17 years. Its teen language, i said with a smile. Mom just stared at me as if i had a tripple chin. I giggled at the thought.
Anyway, thanks Mom i love you. I planted a kiss on her forehead and pink cheeks. Your kisses are infectious dear, look at how am blushing. Mom's way of telling truths is very funny. Maybe it's her good sense of humour at work. I wasted no time at all freshening up and getting dressed for breakfast.
At breakfast, my younger siblings Antony and Elsie as usual were discussing their science projects. The hearing of how each is working on his or her project was a good timing. At least it took my mind off how my day might be at college. I was still thinking about my terro-fantastic dream when mom's voice broke into my thoughts.
Khole, you look like an angel these days. I barely noticed your long dark hair. It's so enviable. If you weren't my daughter, I would have easily pass you as a model. You look divine, mom finished. All this while i blushing.
What's wrong dad?. "It's nothing dear, just admiring how beautiful my baby has grown" dad finished his complement with his 1000 watt smile. Thanks dad, i said.
Right after breakfast, i packed some few stuff into my car and set off to college. I wore my lucky ring from granny on my 15th birthday. I kissed everyone goodbye got into my new car. I started the engine and sped away.
I parked my car among several cars in the car park and headed towards the principal's office. On my way inside, I could hear whispers all around. Few students shifted their attention to my movement but i didn't care. "Geez, that freshman is fabulous" i overheard. With a much friendly approach, i simply waved him and continued to the principal's office.
Just then a handsomely athletic boy runs into me. "Hey, please watch it. What's wrong with you" i blurted out. I froze when he stood up from the floor. "Wait, you? " i cursed. Gary, what in the name of purity are you doing huh?... i didn't wait any further.
"Hey old doll, it's just an accident , get it?. And what do you also want here in my college. If only you were watching where you were going, this silly mistake of yours wouldn't have happened." then he walked off. "Urggh, i hate this control-freak.".
Just then, the principal walked in. "Are you Miss Khole Stephanes ?. She spoke with authority. Yes, the name is Stephens please... the principal cuts in " i don't care, lady. See me in my office now!"
So today was khole's first day at college and she already getting into trouble.
