After long hours of discussion with the principal, she finally introduce me to my class.
"Now Miss Stephens, i don't know if you already know my name but i prefer my students call me Miss Principal", she ended the last words with a confident smile. "Yes Miss Principal" i thought it sounds elegant.
We walked to my new class, only following her. Immediately we entered the class, time clock seemed to stop ticking. Literally everyone there's attention moved to us. I was tensed up this time but i decided to calm down. I just said to myself " calm down Khole, Gary is not here. He's the last person to expect".
Miss Principal cleared her throat slightly and proceeded to talk. " Alright ladies and gentlemen, here's a new colleague. Please be gentle and friendly with her". She turned to me and asked to introduce myself. " my name's khole stephens......"
The introduction was cool. I never imagined i could be that brave but hey, i did it. I am finally free" , the lecturer's voice broke into my thoughts. "You may make yourself comfortable, Miss stephens"
I quickly took my seat infront of a brown- tanned girl. Oh mine, she's so gorgeous.
Hi am Esmeralda, she said jovially. "Hi, am Khole " i chipped in as sweet as i could.
I turned to see what's written on the board. It was " Calculus ". Esmeralda chipped in " uurrgh, i hate calculus". I simply smiled and got carried away by the lecturing.
Lecturing is now over and so exhausted from all that maths calculations. I decided to get a chocolate drink at the cafeteria. Fortunately, i got my self some salad to kill the hunger too.
Excuse me, may we join you on the table?. She said.
I looked up and it was Esmeralda and two other beautiful girls. Of course, sit down. Emeralda and i got along very fast. "Khole, meet Anne Cretins, Mariella and Harriet. Hi girls, nice to meet you. We talked about things randomly like clothes, shoes, books.
I watched my wrist watch. Oh mine. I going to be late to the house today. "Esmeralda, i have to go now." I said in a sad tone. I obviously didn't want to end our conversation.
"I think Khole should gives a ride." Harriet said. I simply said okay but i didn't like it.
As we were leaving the cafeteria, Anne's ring fell. Aww.. guys my ring." She said scared.
What, the Aura ring?.. Esmeralda shouted without knowing i was there.
Suddenly, my ring began to shine. I raised my finger in utter surprise and in a flash, Anne's ring was in my hand.
Woaw.. what just happened?. All the girls stared at me with shocked faces.
After a long period of silence, Esmeralda and the other girls finally spoke. "Khole, will you like to keep a secret?" . Yeah, sure.. We are have powers and you also do?.
Really? I said while shocked.
Yes and Gary too does have powers..
Gary appeared from nowhere. "Girls, we have some bad news. The kryphonix are here. We have to leave now!".
