Chapter Four

Chloe and Max were taking their relationship slow. Isla was constantly going on at Chloe for Max to live with them. "Now can daddy live with us?" Isla asked. Chloe sighed.

"I don't know baby," Chloe replied. Isla glared.

"Why?" Isla asked. Chloe looked at Isla and put Emily in her bouncer.

"Because Isla," Chloe said. Isla huffed and walked off.

"I don't like you!" Isla said.

Charlotte was getting the kids ready to go to the crèche at school.

"You ready to go?" Tom asked. He had got the boys ready.

"Yeah, I'm ready," Charlotte said. She had got the girls ready.

The doorbell rang and Chloe sighed. She opened the door and was surprised when Max was standing there.

"Wasn't expecting to see you here this early," Chloe said. Max smiled.

"Happened to be passing," Max told her. Chloe rolled her eyes but grinned.

"Come on, you can explain to Isla the dangers of being a madam," Chloe said. Max smirked and went into the house.

"Mummy, does Chloe love Max?" Taitlyn asked. Charlotte didn't know what to say.

"I don't know honey. Chloe and Max need to work on something," Charlotte told her. Taitlyn nodded.

Max sent Isla to get changed. Chloe fed Emily before she took them to school and the creche.

"What's the real reason you're here at 7:45am," Chloe asked.

"I want you to be my personal assistant," Max said. Chloe smiled widely.

"I'd love to," Chloe said. Chloe kissed Max.

Tom got in the car with Charlotte after strapping all the kids in.

"Max needs to talk to you," Tom said to Charlotte. Charlotte panicked. What Charlotte didn't know was that she was about to be offered a job.

"Do you know what this is about?" Charlotte asked. Tom nodded.

"I can't say," Tom replied. Charlotte continued panicking.

Max took Chloe to the school after taking Aubree and Isla to school. Emily was in the school creche. "My mum isn't happy about me seeing you again," Chloe said. Max sighed.

"I know she's not. I love you though," Max told her. Chloe smiled.

Charlotte and Tom went to the office. Chloe was there sitting with Max. "What's this about?" Charlotte asked.

Max smiled at her. "Are you panicking?"

"Yes," Charlotte admitted.

"Don't. I want to offer you a job, as our new english teacher. It should be easy for you and Tom to work together. We have a lot of the old teachers back anyway like Miss Haydock and Mr Mead," Max said.

"I'd love to," Charlotte said. She hugged Max and kissed Tom passionately

"You never told me he was back here," Chloe said. Max sighed.

"We needed a science teacher. He was the only choice," Max told her. Chloe groaned.

"How come you're here Chloe?" Tom asked. Chloe grinned.

"Guess who's the new PA," Chloe said. Charlotte grinned and hugged Chloe.

"I think I know what will be happening now," Charlotte said. Chloe rolled her eyes.
