Ed's POV:

I scowled as Stuart walked in. "I'm on in 5, where were you, I want to change my setlist, now I have no fucking time". Stuart just ignored the question, "language Timothy". I swore at him again and he just laughed. "Go on, you better get on". I'm glad I had Stuart as a manager, he takes the banter, just listens to my crap and he's even nice when he wants to be..

I walked out on stage and the crowd cheered. I felt so bad, I barely slept and the bright lights didn't help either, but I was determined to give my fans the best show I could. I opened with Give Me Love as usual and continued with Lego House, The City and everything else. "Alright, for this one. I want you to all be as quiet as possible. Is that okay?". The crowd cheered and I hushed them. I started to softly sing Gold Rush and included my newly 'added line'.

'I left a note said, "I'd be back in 5", what if she's still waiting for that moment to arrive?'

"If I was still bloody waiting I'd be there forever". I stopped playing, the crowd stayed silent. "What?", I said, scanning the room. Who said that? "Hi Ed", the voice said. Stuart helped her up on stage and I dropped my guitar.

"Skye!"

I ran over to her and grabbed her, hugging her as tight as I could. "Um.. This is my girlfriend Skye, if you didn't know. We uh.. well no. I walked out. But, I regretted it, and, she's here. She came and, I love her, I love you Skye", I said to the audience. They "Awww'd", making Skye blush. "She's going to help me finish the rest of my songs tonight!". The crowd cheered and Trevor bought out my other guitar, handing it to Skye. She looked so nervous. "Just play the riffs and sing the harmonies, there's only two songs left", I whispered. So we finished Gold Rush and sung The A Team and Wayfaring Stranger together. I thanked the crowd and we both walked off, I literally threw my guitar across the floor and grabbed hold of Skye, hugging her as tight as I could.

"I'm so sorry. That was so evil of me, I'm sorry". I couldn't stop the tears from pouring down my cheeks. She didn't say anything but she just cried, hugging me back and soaking my tshirt right through. "I'm sorry.. I hate myself right now.. I left you all on your own. I'm such a dick I know that now, please don't cry", I begged, wiping her tears away as mine still poured down my face. "Your arm", I whispered, kissing the bandage. "You- y.. Wha- Skye..?", I sobbed, knowing this was also my fault. "I'm a shit girlfriend", she whispered. "No! No! No you're not! You're the best girlfriend anyone could ever have asked for. No way. You're perfect Skye". We both burst into tears again and I finally let go of her, but only to take her hand. "Come on, lets go to a hotel, oh and, you were perfect out there. The crowd loved you".

So we got to a hotel and I curled up around her body as we got into bed, making sure she was safe. "I promise I won't leave", I whispered quietly as I undid her bandage, kissing every single scar, new and old she had, before I could even try and fall asleep. I really did hope she forgave me. I wanted her to know I loved her but, I think I just screwed up my chances.
