Ed's POV:

The second of my Birmingham gigs was wicked last night. But, I didn't really care about that right at this moment in time. It was Skye's birthday and, I was going to do anything and everything to make her feel like a princess. I wriggled out of her arms and grabbed the phone. "Is that room service.. yes.. yes.. everything.. yes, okay. Thank you!".

Skye stirred in her sleep but didn't wake up. I smiled down at her, just admiring how beautiful she looked. Her hair was sprawled out across the pillow and her naked body was slightly curved, with the blanket covering her up. There was a knock on the door, distracting my thoughts. I answered it quietly, stuffing a £20 note in the waiters hand. "Thanks", I whispered, taking the tray. Skye stirred again as I sat down on the bed.

"Ed?", she mumbled, making you grin, "Happy birthday beautiful". She laughed, sitting up and taking a bit off toast off the tray. "You ordered a lot". It was true, I couldn't decided what to pick, so I just got it all. "All the more for me!". She laughed again, helping me finish off the breakfast. "Presents!", I said, making her slightly jump. "Aw Ed.. you didn't have to..", I grinned placing 4 presents down in front of her. She undid the first one, "this ones from all the tour crew". It was the tour shirt from my current tour and wrapped up in it was an iPod with all her favourite songs on it. "How did they- aww.. they didn't have to- but..", I laughed at her confusion, "I told them your favourite songs, they wanted to". She smiled, "that's so kind, they really didn't have to". I rolled my eyes and passed her the next one. "This ones from me!", she grinned and carefully undid the ribbon and pulled open the box. "Oh Ed..", she said with her hand over her mouth. I had bought her a necklace. It was in the shape of a heart and it was gold in colour, I really did hope she liked it. She carefully picked it up and handed it to me, "put it on!". I grinned, fastening it around her neck. It suited her, so well, even if I did say myself. She kissed me, making me smile as I kissed her back, "thank you". I was so glad she liked it, it took me forever to choose. "This ones from Stuart", I said, handing her the next present. "Stuart bought me a present?", she laughed which made me smirk a bit, he must have been in a good mood. It was a pile of my old EP's, older then anyone had ever been able to get their hands on. "Stuart!", I shouted as if he was here, "they're so embarrassing!". Skye laughed, hugging them tight. "I don't care I love them already!". She took hold of the last box and softly shook it, "who's this from?". I shrugged, "it was on the doormat". She slowly opened it and inside was an orange plectrum snapped in half, obviously on purpose and my name was engraved across it. "What the heck", I said quietly, making her slam the box shut. "Weird. Ugh, I don't know". I just shrugged it off and rolled up out of bed, "come on Skye! We're going out, get dressed!".
