Love in the Skye (Ed Sheeran fanfic) [Part 2]

Chapter 18

Skye's POV:

Ed pulled our suitcases off the luggage belt at the airport. We were finally in America. I wasn't really sure how busy Ed would be but I had finally caught up on some sleep on the plane which was good.

We stepped outside the airport and there was a taxi outside already. We got in and it drove us straight to the hotel. "Oh my god, Ed!", I squealed. He laughed taking me in his arms. It was beautiful, our room was huge.

We dumped our luggage and Ed grabbed his guitar, "come on! First show tonight!". I sometimes worried Ed worked too hard, he had been gigging continuously for months now, he must have been tired, even if he didn't show it.

We got a taxi to the venue and walked inside. Taylor was there and she hugged me, "hi Skye! I've heard so much about you!". I looked up at Ed and he was blushing, obviously he had been telling stories, again! He bounded out on stage and sung a short set to open for Taylor before coming back out to find me. I was sitting in his dressing room building things with his Lego set when he grabbed me from behind making me giggle. "You okay beautiful?", he whispered softly in my ear. "I'm fine Ed", I said back as he kissed the back of my neck. "I gotta go meet some fans and stuff, good promo, you alright staying here or do you wanna come?". I sighed, just wanting to spend some time with him. "I miss you", I said quietly, but then regretting it as he instantly felt guilty. "I'll go for a walk", I said, interrupting his apologies. Maybe that would clear my head.

I walked off out the venue with my hood up. I wasn't even famous yet I got recognised and asked for pictures these days. Thankfully, I hadn't been in the papers for a while but, being Ed's girlfriend wasn't always easy, how ever lovely it was..

I must have been walking for about 20 minutes before I realised I had just walked into the middle of no where. It was dark and I didn't even know which way I came from. I pulled out my phone but it was still searching for British signal, so no service either. Shit. I was lost and I had no idea where to go.
