Rekindle

"Tom, i'm scared" i admitted as I ran to hug him. I knew Ricky had moved because I felt it but I don't know if it was just a movement of him, meaning nothing.

I could see him through the window of the ward he was in, it wasn't a clear picture but I could see him with the oxygen mask on and the nurses examining him fully. All I could do is wait, pray and hope.

"C'mon Ricky. Please don't leave me" I weeped into my hands before Tom took me in for a reassuring tight hug.

"He'll be fine love, honestly. He can make it through anything" Tom said to me. I smiled and responded with a simple
"I hope you're right".

--- Rita's P.O.V ---

I was sitting in the rehearsal room waiting for my next contestant when my phone buzzed. A text message from Tom appeared on my screen.

Tom: hello Rita, I don't know if you've heard about Ricky but he is in the hospital. He had a accident but the doctors haven't actually told us what's happened to him. Aurora is with me now. Can you get the entire Team Ricky up here please. Thanks. I hope you can get up here, oh and the girls Bailey and Kaylie. Aurora is distraught and needs friend company.

After I had read that message I was on a mission to get everyone down to the hospital. I was worried about Ricky and Aurora because her feelings for Ricky, although they split up, had never left her heart and were apparently creeping back to her. I got in my car, texted Bailey and Kaylie and drove to the hospital where I was easily able to find the ward they were at. Aurora got up out of her seat and ran to me, sobbing.

It wasn't long before the cavalry arrived, team Ricky came through the hospital doors as if they were dogs looking for something. They saw Aurora and panicked.

The nurse emerged from the ward, her face was drained and her hands shaking, she looked like she had bad news because of the way she dropped her head when she saw Aurora.

"Mr. Wilson, he is through there. You may go see him but he has been bruised on his arms and legs. He's conscious but wary so take it easy on him" she said turning her head so she was talking to the entire group.

--- Bailey's P.O.V ---

"Anyone want to go in?" Aurora asked.

"Aurora, honey. You are the one who was closest to him by a long shot in this group" I said to her before tapping her shoulder and hugging her.

"You go in there and ask him what on earth he was thinking and what happened to him. Rekindle your damn relationship!" I stared her right in the eyes saying this as she nodded and went in.
