Caught out

—- Rita's P.O.V —-

I sat in my hotel room reading magazines and listening to the charts, basically a typical afternoon when everyone is out. My room was overlooking the entrance of the hotel so I can hear almost all of the other guests leaving and coming back to the hotel. It's quite amusing really.

I once saw a stag party coming to pick the stag up for their party. They were all dressed up differently. The best man wore a cowboy outfit and the others were dressed up as Mario, a minion, Gru from Despicable me, one was dressed as an old English gentleman. Slightly strange but funny at the same time.

This night was different though. I lay on my bed and I heard a familiar laugh coming from outside. It was Ricky, then I heard a female laugh and instantly thought it was Aurora. I got up to shout of them to get their attention.

"Hey Ric-" I shouted waving my arm. He looked up and smiled. The girl he was with wasn't Aurora. He had his arm around her, as if they were a couple. I wasn't impressed with what he had done, he knew because my facial expression had changed to annoyed. He acted as if everything was okay as he muttered something to her before kissing her cheek. I need to speak to him now and hopefully find out who this girl is. I don't want Aurora getting hurt.

Mystery girl was blonde, tall-ish, had THE most annoying laugh ever, had fake tan on and she looked like a walking Barbie doll. I haven't said a single word to her and already, I don't like her.

"Hey, I'll be up in a second!" He called up to me

"Hey, babe, go and wait in the restaurant. I'll meet you there soon" he called to Barbie wanna be.

I shut my window and proceeded to the door to open it while Ricky made his way up. He had some explaining to do.

Moments later Ricky came into my room, smiling.

"Hey Reets, what's up?" he asked me as he sat down on the sofa

"What's up? Don't you know? Who the heck is Barbie girl who was with you?"

"Okay, calm down. geez, when did we start going out?" He said

"We didn't! But you and Aurora did remember? Ricky, she is my friend. I don't want her getting hurt."

"Yes, I know and we have made up"

"So why are you with her?"

"Because. I am not dating her!"

"You had your arm around her Ricky"

"I know BUT she is just nobody" He said before he left.

That was when I heard Aurora enter her room. I left my room and knocked on her door. She was going to find out.

—- Aurora's P.O.V —-

I heard a knock at the door.

"Hey Reets, come on in" I said, tiredly.

"Hey, is you and Ricky okay? You and him have been well, distracted and distant from each other for ages now and it seems like Ricky has disappeared off the face of the earth and you have been well, hardly leaving your room, ignoring my texts, phone calls and knocks as you have been doing to your friends." she said to me as she sat on the end of my bed.

"Yeah, everything is cool. The girls have headed back home to visit family and they know what has been going on with me and Ricky so they have given me space which is what I told them to do. I felt like I needed to be on my own for a while. I needed to think about everything. Including my relationship with Ricky"

I proceeded to inform her about the notes I have been receiving and honestly, Rita also seemed to be pondering about who L was. She seemed like she had an idea of who L was and even she could hear the giggles coming from Ricky's room as well as being able to hear the conversation.

"I know that laugh and that voice. I know who L is"

—- Rita's P.O.V —-

I knew all along that this conversation would be hard for her to hear. So I thought the best way to do it was to tell her everything.

"Well, when you were out with your parents, I hung all night in my room mainly because I had nothing to do and as you know, my room overlooks the entrance to the hotel so I can hear basically anyone who comes into the hotel"

"Yeah, it's an um, interesting sight sometimes" she said as she smiled

"Yes, well. About 10 minutes ago, Ricky came back and well. He had his arm around her and they seemed like they were a couple" Her face just sunk. It looked like her entire world had shut down.

"Are you okay?" I asked, she began to cry

"*Sniffle* Ho-How could he do this to me?"

"I don't know but I reckon whoever that is next door. The added girl. She is L" I said pointing to the wall.

"I'm going over there. I have a spare key" She said as she jumped up, dried her eyes and stormed over to the room.

—- Ricky's P.O.V —-

"This feels wrong. I mean I am cheating on Aurora right now and Rita has just caught us" I sighed as I looked at the floor.

"Hey, everything will be okay. Just remember our past. We had a lot together and we can have that again"

"Yes but, can we? I mean it has been ages since we went out as a couple, It was high school"

With that being said, the door opened and she pulled me in. We kissed and standing on the other side of the door was Aurora,Leona and Rita.

"Told you" Rita said.
