We sat outside my house. It was quiet. I ran my finger through my hair. "I'm coming in with you." Noah told me. I nodded, not paying enough attention to his to disagree. All of the lights were on, making me even more suspicious. I watched all of the windows to see if they were still there. I knew Carly was still hiding in the basement, but I wanted to make sure that these assholes knew to never come here again.

"There!" I pointed to the top floor window, where a silhouette of man was "They must be up there." I unbuckled my seat belt. "If we're not out in five minutes, come in." I started to get out of the car when he grabbed my arm.

"Wait, you wouldn't want me to call the police?" I shook my head.

"I'm black and Carly is hispanic. Do you think that'll work out in our favor?" He sighed and let go of my arm. I closed the car door and walked to the door, where it was unlocked. I took off my heels, just in case. Since I was too far away from any of my weapons, I grabbed the closest thing to me, a fireplace tool for the fireplace we never used. I turned around and started to sneak up the stairs.

Once I reached the top, there was no one there. "What the-" I was tackled down causing me to drop the tool. I tried to remove the person, but they wouldn't budge. I pulled my hair, forcing my head to tilt backwards.

"Hello Princess." I was too panicked to figure out which guy had his mouth pressed against his year. "I don't know where your friend went, but since you're here, that makes everything better." I tried wiggling out of his grip to reach the tool, but that only made him grip tighter. "You have nothing to fight me with. Who's going to save you now?" I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. In that moment, I could feel the weight of the person lifted off of me. I flipped over on my back and saw Noah lifting Jake in the air, making me realize how big Noah really was compared to Jake's 5'9 frame. I could feel the anger radiating off of Noah and in a flash, he dropped him back on to the floor and kneed his face, knocking him out. My eyes grew wide as he turned to face me.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly. I nodded, too speechless to actually answer with words. He gave me a small smile and picked me up bridal style. "I should've said a catchphrase when I knocked him out.

My hero.

Carly, Noah and I sat on the couch watching TV taking glances of the two men tied up to the left. We were waiting for Noah's friend, Dylan, to come and help him take these two dorks to God knows where. I snuggled into Noah's chest. "I'm sorry that tonight didn't go as planned." I whispered to him

"It's okay. It's not every day you get to knee someone." He chuckled "I had a good time, but let's leave the violence alone on our second date, Okay?." My face was set ablaze. Second date.

I was grinning, "Agreed." The doorbell rang and I stood up. "I'll get it." I opened the door to find a man who looked similar to Noah. He had jet black hair and olive toned skin also, but his eyes were a dark brown and he looked a goofier, but that was probably the smile he had on his face.

"You must be Kaylee!" I smiled back and reached my hand out so he could shake it but he went for a hug instead. I was startled but hugged him back. He was warm and smelled like a fresh cinnamon bun.

"Ah, yeah, I'm Kaylee. I'm guessing you're Dylan?" He nodded and released. "Well come on in." He walked past me and to the couch where the other two were sitting. Noah stood up and gave him a hug. Then his eyes wandered onto Carly's face and stayed there as if he was starstruck. Noah then snapped his fingers in front of his face.

"C'mon, we have to take these two." he tilted his head to the tied up men. Dylan's eyes wandered  back to Carly's.

"We can't stay here and watch a movie....or three?" Noah shook his head. I snickered at his obvious infatuation with Carly.

"Maybe some other time. The both of us have work in eight hours, and I'm pretty sure the ladies will be busy." Dylan sighed and walked over to the guys and picked one up bridal style.

"You get the other one." He muttered and walked out of the door. Noah smiled and shook his head at his friend and picked up the second guy, following his lead. I looked at Carly and wiggled my eyebrows at her, causing her to blush. Soon they were back in the house and Dylan went to go introduce himself to Carly.

"So, How would you rate the night?" Noah embraced me

"Hmmm," I pretended to think "I'll give it a 10/10." He smiled.

"What make it a ten?"

"When you knocked him out, that really made me...bothered." I shivered. He chuckled.

"You really are something." He mumbled then kissed me. Instead of a peck, it was a slow and steady kiss. He was clearly skilled in the tongue department. Everything around me melted, he had me hooked. Every second I wanted more. Soon, we heard a manly couch, bringing us out of our kiss. We turned to face Carly and Dylan, who we forgot who was there.

"If you want to actually leave, I suggest we go now, stop eating each others faces." Dylan told him as I blushed. Noah rolled his eyes.

He gave me one last peck on the lips. "Goodnight, Kitten."
