Dedicated to
If I asked you to define a superhero, what would you say?
Someone who makes the world feel safe when it's falling apart,
Someone soft and warm, who hugs with all their heart,
Someone who's there every single day.
You're like a superhero teddy bear,
A grounding force, always there.
You listen to everyone without complaint,
Always showing quiet restraint.
A teacher, a friend, a hero, a light in the dark,
Always willing to ignite someone's spark.
So when you don your cape, your mask, your shield,
please remember that sometimes it's okay to step back and yield.
Sometimes even heroes fall apart,
Even heroes can get a fragile heart.
I don't need you to be a hero,
I just need you to know you don't have to carry it all alone,
We'll always be here when you feel lost.
A rabbit, a grumpy old bear, A pair of siblings... the start of a collection, And isn't that just wonderful?
