I went and sat across the coffee table from Jaimee and Elliot. I sat on the floor, while they sat on the couch.
We had another little dinner thing, and Luke continued to infuriate me. He would kiss my head or cheek whenever Elliot would so much as look at me. He even told me he loved and got mad when I didn't say it back.
He had whispered and, not hearing a reply, excused himself from the table.
So I have to talk to Jaimee because Jenna's out. Jaimee just so happens to be sitting next to Elliot.
"I'm sorry about the drama queen." I apologized, laughing slightly. Elliot glanced at me before fixing his gaze on his lap again. "It's okay." Jaimee smiled sadly.
"Really? You know you aren't supposed to be near him." Luke said. "You can't keep me from having friends, Lucas."
"Don't call me that!" He snapped, "And when your dad specifically says no..."
He walked out, and I laid my head on the coffee table. "By far, one of the worst relationships I've ever been in."
I felt someone grab my hand and shook my head. "I can't- I can't take this anymore." I looked up, seeing Elliot holding my hand.
I was shocked, needless to say, but only sent a short, small smile. He returned it, wiping a stray tear away.
I suddenly pulled away from him, setting my elbows on my knees, my head in my hands. "I'm supposed to be over you, dammit! You aren't helping!"
"Erica?" Shit. I lifted my head to Mr. King. He never calls me Erica.
"Yes?"
"You know you aren't supposed to be near Elliot." He sighed. I stood, "I'm sorry."
I walked past him, running into Luke by the stairs. "Hey, why are you-"
"Cut it! We're done! I'm tired of this, Luke! This is the most miserable relationship I've ever been in! I like you better as a so-called brother!" I then ran upstairs to my room.
Elliot's POV
I heard a door slam.
Why did I do that?
"Is that what you wanted?" Luke exclaimed. "Are you happy now?" He yelled at me.
"Hey, Luke. Trust me. He didn't want that." Kinda did. "Yes, he did! He can't get over the fact that she's over him!"
"Luke, let's go talk in your room." Jaimee led Luke upstairs.
I waited a few minutes before going to check on Erica. She didn't seem too happy when she left.
When I got to her room, I stopped to make sure nobody was around before knocking on her door.
"Go away!" She cried. I only knocked again. She threw the door open, "I said go away!" She looked at me, her face softening. "Elliot. You- You can't be here. We'll get in t-"
I pulled her to my chest, "Smile, Beautiful. You look much prettier when you do." I pulled back, a small smile on her face.
I kissed her forehead and gave her hands a squeeze before releasing her and walking slowly over to Luke's.
I heard her door shut again and sighed. I shouldn't have kissed her. I have no control when it comes to that girl though.
I knocked on the door, Luke answering. "What do you want? Can't be pleased? You've already gotten one thing off your list. Isn't that enough today?"
"That's not what I want, Luke! The last think I wanna see is Erica upset! Yet, she has been the whole relationship she had with you! So don't fucking tell me what I want!"
