Elliot: Something wrong?
I sighed. It's been three days since Elliot sent the flowers. I was planning on texting him back a thanks that morning, but then I heard a conversation I shouldn't have heard.
Me: Sorry, had a problem come up that I haven't been able to wrap my head around.
Elliot: Want me to come over?
Me: I'll come to you.
Elliot: But it's raining. Want me to pick you up?
Me: Sure.
Elliot: Alright, see you in a few.
I quickly slipped my shoes on. I walked out of my room, quietly shutting the door. I snuck downstairs, hoping Luke was in his room. Sadly, he wasn't.
"Hey." He smiled. "Hey." I replied. "Wanna watch a movie? Your pick." He winked. "I'm actually going out."
"Where could you be going in this weather?" His smiled dropped. I shrugged, "Places."
He nodded, "Elliot's." He said to himself, turning back to the tv. "What exactly do you have against Elliot?"
His head snapped to me, "Nothing." He shrugged. He, again, turned back to the tv. "Obviously it's something!" I snapped. He turned, gawking at me.
I saw headlights, "I'll talk to you later." I mumbled, walking out the door.
I slammed the door, quickly getting in Jaimee's car that Elliot seems to borrow a lot. "Hey." Elliot greeted as I got in the car. "Hey." I smiled, buckling my seat belt.
"What's wrong?" He asked, pushing my wet hair out of my face. I looked up at his beautiful blue eyes. "L-Luke, he.." I sighed, "Can I explain at your place?"
He nodded, lacing his fingers with mine as he drove down the road.
We got to his house, and he opened my door, keeping his umbrella over both of us. We ran to the house and to his room before Jaimee could stop us.
After shutting his door, he turned, gently taking my face in his hands. "What'd Luke do?"
I explained what happened, Elliot tensing every now and then. "He likes you?" He exclaimed. "But I don't like him." I reminded him. He turned back to me, kissing my lips. "I didn't mean to raise my voice. How are you taking the whole Luke thing? Are you okay?"
I shrugged, "I snapped at him right before you showed up." He rose an eyebrow, "You? Snapped?"
"That's the same look he gave! Is it that unbelievable that I have a temper?" I yelled. He grabbed my face, squishing my cheeks. He chuckled, "Calm down! I'm just saying you don't seem like the type to snap easily."
I smiled, "Not easily. Just when I'm really ticked off."
"I'll try not to really tick you off then." He smiled. "Good." I grinned.
He pecked my lips and turned the tv on. All we got was static. He put a movie in, and we watched in silence for a while.
"Thank you." I said, half way through the movie. He rose an eyebrow. "For the flowers." I said, pushing his curls our of his eyes. He smiled, "So, would you?"
"Would I what?" I asked, twirling his hair around my hair around my finger. "Go on a date with me again?"
"Obviously." I smiled. I kissed his cheek before laying my head on his shoulder. "Good," He said, pulling me closer, "because I've already got out next one planned."
