Gerard's P.O.V
I stared at the ceiling as I laid on my bed. Brian had called earlier. My times up. I have to get going now. Back to touring. I leave in two days. I have to talk to Frank.
I sigh as I pick up my phone. My hand was shaking. What do I do? I don't want to leave Frank. But I can't abandon my fans. I scroll to Frank's name and hit dial. He answers pretty fast.
Frank: "Hey."
Me: "Hey, Frankie. We...err...need to....err....talk." Smooth, Gerard. Not.
Frank: "What's wrong? Your n...not calling t...to tell me you d..don't want to s....see me again, are y...you? 'Cause if you are, I'm sorry. For whatever I did. I'll stop.."
Me: "I'm not calling to blow you off. I'd like to blow you though. When your eighteen of course."
I heard him gasp in surprise. So I laughed.
Me: "Frankie, baby, I have some bad news."
Frank: "Bad news?"
Me: "Brian called. Times up. I leave in two days."
The line went quiet for a few minutes. Till Frank spoke in a sad tone.
Frank: "Oh."
Me: "I don't want to leave you."
Frank: "But you have to go for the fans."
Me: "I wanna ask you something."
Frank: "Bout the band?"
Me: "No. The offers still there for that though. I just....I don't want to go. I'll miss you so much."
Frank: "So what do we do?"
Me: "Well I want to take you out for a meal tomorrow. Seem as it's our last day together...for now."
Frank: "Okay."
Me: "Your eighteen soon, right?"
Frank: "Yeah."
Me: "I want you to come with me after your birthday."
The line went quiet again.
Me: "Don't decide yet. Tell me your decision tomorrow. But if you do come with me, I'll pay for your travel and I promise I won't lie to people about us. If you want there to be a us that is."
Frank: "Us?"
Me: "Yeah. Us. Frank Iero and Gerard Way. Us. When you turn eighteen, will you be my boyfriend?"
