The First Task

Right when I had woken up, I wanted desperately wanted to roll over and sleep through the entire day, today was the day of the first task and I was absolutely terrified of the dragons that I would have to face. I groaned as I sat up and walked over to my trunk, pulling out my uniform and sliding it on quickly. It was a more formal affair, so I had to wear my little capelet and my shoes that had a bit higher heels, which I put on before I walked to the bathroom, brushed my hair and teeth and did my makeup before I walked down to the common room. I saw the twins sitting on the couch, looking over at someone who I couldn't see with a face of annoyance.

"Morning," I said, looking around the room and seeing that it was Andrew.

"Morning," he answered, walking over to me and grasping me tightly, forcing his lips onto mine. I could hear Fred and George groan as he did so, and I rather felt like groaning myself; the kiss was just awful. I felt his hands travel down my back until one was on my bum, the other at the bottom of my skirt, slowly picking it up and I gasped, pushing off of him and nearly falling because of my heels.

"Don't you dare touch me like that again," I growled out, hearing an approving cheer from the couch, which caused me to turn to face the twins and glare at them before I turned my glare to Andrew.

"Sorry, babe. You just look so damn sexy in that little uniform," he smirked, moving closer to me and dropping his lips down to my ear. "I was thinking, if you'd want to, we could go down to my dorm and-"

"No, I most certainly will not have sex with you, you uncultered, ill mannered, loathsome swine," I shouted, storming out of the hall and ignoring Fred, who had stuck his hand out to high five me. I walked all the way down the Great Hall, absolutely fuming, my expression only softening when I saw my father talking to Professor McGonagoll.

"Daddy!" I yelled, running the rest of the way down the stairs and straight into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"My dear girl, how are you? I've missed you so much," he said, holding me at arm's length and beaming at me, McGonagoll smiling at us.

"I'm good, nervous, but good. I've missed you too, it's been so crazy here. Sorry, again," I said, a little softer at the end. He just patted my shoulder and smiled.

"Already been forgiven. How's your school work?"

"Perfect, just as I remember it to be," Professor McGonagoll answered while I turned around to see Fred and George walking down the stairs and stopping behind me.

"Well, well, well, pleasure to see you boys. I hope you're not being too much of an influence on my daughter," dad said jokingly, shaking both of their hands.

"No, she's been quite the influence on us though, entering the tournament without permission, sneaking into Hogsm-" Fred started, interrupted by my hand clamping over his mouth.

"I've been a good influence by focusing on my studies and visiting the library daily," I joked, smiling as everyone laughed.

"Hey, babe. You alright?" Andrew's voice called out from a few steps above up. I looked behind me and saw my father tense up, glaring at Andrew, with crossed arms; Fred and George in the same position. I smiled meekly back at Andrew as he stopped next to me, extending his hand out to my father, who shook it halfheartedly.

"Uh, dad. This is Andrew," I said, watching as my father still glared at Andrew, who wasn't fazed by it and leaned over to kiss my cheek.

"I'm going to breakfast, see you later," he said, cupping me cheek with one hand before he walked away. Dad's eyes followed him until he walked into the Great Hall before he turned back to me.
