I close the front door behind me silently as I watch the faces of my parents in the livingroom.

There wasnt a way around them at this point.

"Emily" My dads voice echod throughout the house.

I sigh "Hey"

"Where the hell have you been?" My mom joined my dad and I near the door.

"I told you last night. I was going to the script reading."

"You never told us that"

"Did you make the callbacks?" My mom added in.

I stood silently in disbelief for a split second.

Nodding slowly I looked at them.
"I told you last night that I was going. After you yelled at me as you told me that I wasn't going"

I watched their faces grow soft in almost an instant. Guilt piercing their bodies.

"Emily. We know that these past couple weeks have been hard on you. We want nothing more then to make you happy. Take a little weight off your shoulders."

"We're so proud of you for making those callbacks"

I raised my eyebrows in annoyance.

"Yeah thanks guys."

I walked upstairs the minute I could get away. And for the rest of the day I was set on the thought of laying in bed and watching movies for the rest of the night.

But I got through two movies and felt the need to do something.

I pushed my blankets off my legs.

Pulling up my jeans, I put on a soft t-shirt and fix the hairs creeping out of my pony tail.

I track downstairs and through the kitchen to the back door.

"Im going outside" I shout

"Okay. Do you have your phone?" I hear a call back.

I feel in my back pocket and respond with a yes.

I walk out of the door barefoot as my feet walked through the grass and into the sand.

The beach was always so empty here, but a half a mile down was a pier. Vancent due to the time being around dinner.

I walk down to it, and as I near the end, I place myself down on a bench facing the water. The sunset making the image almost too good to be true.

The calming noise of the waves splashing on the wood was interuppted by hands grabbing my shoulders.
I grip my phone for a split second as my knuckles turn white.

"Long time, no see" He mummbles

It didnt take much to know who it was, the voice was all to much laced with annoyence and the feeling of home.

"If youre a kidnapper, you dont want me, I complain quite a bit"

Jace laughs walking around the bench, placing himself next to me.

"Hey" he smiles

"You stalking me now?" I feel a slight grin tug at my lips.

"A guy can't go to the beach?"

I glared at him and rolled my eyes.

"No but, I'm glad I ran into you actually, there's another page of the script you need to know for the call back, Dan just called me in to give everyone the addition."
He pulls out a folded up paper from his back pocket and hands it to me.
