"What?" I unproperally fix my bathing suit.

He grins, studying me as his hands find their way to my hips. Hesitating,
"...you're beautiful"

"Thats not a question"

"Is it?"

I frow my eyebrows, cut off by the alarming screeches of Maeve as she's thrown in the pool, Sean standing where she was pushed from, and smile across his face.

"Theyre not a fruit"

"They are too!"

I sit on Coopers empty bed as everyone disperses themselves around the room, arguing abrupting throughout the room.

My oversized sweatpants consume my cold body, frozen to the touch from the pool, in which we spent over half the day in.

I smile at my surroundings, remaining quiet and out of the argument as I lock eyes with Sean from across the room.

He sits next to me, leaning closer in order to hear him.
"Pizzas probably here"

"It been a half an hour already?"

"Come down to the lobby with me?"

I nod, following him out to the quiet hallway, waiting for the elevator in silence.

"You can get used to the cast being like this" Sean chuckles "we seem to always be arguing"

"Nah that's alright" I shrug "growing up my sister and I used to be the same way"

"You have a sister?"

"Shes in college" I nod

"Whats it like coming to America?"

"Not too bad, just lucky there's no language barrier"

"Sometimes it is hard to understand you, you know?"

"I know" My eyes playfully roll, jabbing at the first floor button.

|~*~|

Sean grabs the pizza, paying as we head back to the elevators.

"So you like being on set so far?"

"Its different... tiring"

"I could agree with that" He chuckles lightly.

"Yeah, but it's all worth it, hanging out and getting closer with everyo-"

My sentence trails off as the elevator doors open, not taking more than a second to process what was happening.

My eyes widen as I stand to watch, feeling Sean look at me, unsure what to say.

Jace pulls away from her, Maeve watching me with a smug grin on her face. She bites her lip, he stares at me, apology flooding the distance between our eye contact.

His face blurs with the overhead lights, my head shakes lightly as I leave, walking past the elevator and slamming into the door of the stairwell.

I sulk my way quickly up the stairs, seven stories floated by. Following down the quiet halls to my room. Struggling to get the key out of my sweatshirt pocket through the blurred vision.

I burry myself under the white blankets, staring at the bare blue wall, the air conditioners fan pelting my face, drying my tears

You mean everything to me
I don't know what I'd do without you
Youre my whole world
I love you.

A track record of lies that rushed throughout my emotions, consuming me to the darkness.

After the previous night, he knew I was fragile.

They had walked all over me, throwing my feelings away like it hadn't mattered what I felt.

There were muffled voices outside of the door, then silence. My breathing stops, trying to hear who was left.

"Baby, please open the door"

Jaces clear voice floods the room through the door. Tears flood down my face at the words. I stay put.

I close my eyes, darkness replacing my feelings, and pure silence.

|~*~|

My eyes blink open, light knocks disrupt my deepened sleep.

Stuffy noses, I remain in the same position, the window now flooding in darkness from the outside.

Replacing the usual loud voice through the door, there comes a quiet one, closer now, following the shut of the door following.

I turn quietly, watching Jace through puffy eyes as he sits on the edge of the opposite bed, his hands over his apologetic face. Unsure of where to start.

"I know that there's no explaining this one good enough for you to forgive me" his sigh filled with dred

I don't respond.

"Im just going to explain everything to you okay?"

"Explain?" I shake my head, turning my back towards him,
"Explain what? How you don't give a shit about anyone or their feelings but your own? Just leave."

"You know that's not true"

"Yeah?"

"I give you everything Emily. I'm always there for you."

"Just like you were there for me as you were suck face with Maeve?"

"I messed up"

"You sure did"

"Im sorry"

"Okay"

"Look I saw that you and Sean had left-"

"Wait, I didnt ask what happened did I? I don't want an explination"

"I know but-"

"So leave"

"I just want to-"

"Bye"

"Stop acting like a petty brat, shut the hell up for a minute and listen to me"

My eyebrows raise at his tone, finally looking at him- his expression softening at the sight of my red eyes.

"I saw you guys leave, I went to go down with you guys. Maeve tagged along, she kissed me once we got in the elevator."

"You kissed back?"

He nods, "im sorry"

"With Maeve though."

His eyebrows frow in confusion.

"The girl looks like a fish when she kisses-not the cute kind"

He grins, "im forgiven?"

"No" I chuckle "not even a little"

He sighs, running his hands through his hair.
"Just... let me know if there's anything I can do, I mean it"

"Im sure you do"

He stands, but I extend my arm, pushing him back.

"Dont leave"
