Chapter 6

I woke up in an unfamiliar room with my head on someone's chest. I looked up and saw Jace. WHAT THE HELL!? I tried to get up but Jace's arm that were wrapped around my waist tightened as I wiggled. I immediately stopped when my wiggling caused his hand to fall from my waist and land on my ass. Oh hell no. I tilted my head up and blew in his face. His forehead and eyebrows crinkled. That'd be adorable if his hand wasn't on my ass.

"Jace." I said.

"Wake up." I said louder then blew in his face again.

"Jace wake up!" I  yelled. His eyes flew open and he looked around then his eyes landed on me.

"Hey." he said grinning.

"Remove your hand from my ass." I growled. Jace's eyes widened. He quickly pulled his hand away.

"Remove your other arm from my waist." I added. He did.

"Now WHY THE HELL AM I IN YOUR BED!?" I demanded.

"You kinda passed out in it."he said.

"Ok so why are you in the bed with me?" I asked. "

Because Jaxon passed out on one of my couches and your friends took the other." he said.

"Why didn't you sleep on the floor?" I asked.

"Im not gonna sleep on the floor in my own house." he said. I rolled my eyes.

"You should've cuddled up with Jaxon." I said.

"Ew!" Jace said.

"That's gross." he added .

"And you sleeping next to a passed out girl who you didn't ask to sleep with, is creepy." I pointed out.

"Would you rather be grossed out or labeled as a creeper?" I asked. Jace mumbled something under his breath.

"Excuse me? I cant hear you." I said Jace said it again in a whisper.

"One more time."I said.

"Grossed out." I heard him say in a barely audible voice.

"Thats what I thought." I said. I got up and was happy to see I was still wearing the outfit I arrived in.

"If anyone asks you slept on the floor." I said. I walked out of his room and walked down the stairs which was littered with red solo cups. I found El and Maya passed out on the couch just like Jace said. El's feet were right in Maya's face and El was cuddling Maya's feet. Gross. I took off my heels and walked to the entrance of the living room then I sprinted to the couch and yelled,

"CANNON BALL!!" as I jumped onto Maya and El.

"HOLY FUDGEPOPS!!" El yelled.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Maya screamed. I smiled at them innocently and then I started screaming at the top of my lungs.

"ALL MY LIFE I'VE BEEN GOOD BUT NOW I'M THINKING WHAT THE HELL! ALL I-" I started to sing but was cut off by Jaxon yelling,

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I looked at Jaxon and saw him clutching a pillow to each ear.

"What's the magic word?" I asked.

"BITCH I AINT PLAYING THIS MAGIC WORD GAME!" Jaxon said pissed.

"It's not a game. It's a legit question." I said.

"Bull." he spat.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked.

"Peaches." Maya said and I looked at her.

"Listen to me closely." she said.

"Not all of us can wake up after a night of drinking like you. The majority of us end up hung over and it's miserable." Maya explained.

"Jaxon is hung over. El and I are too. We were up until 4 in the morning puking." Maya added.

"Oh." I said. I turned to Jaxon and said,

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were hungover. If I had I wouldn't have been so loud." I said. Jaxon looked suprised.

"I'm also sorry for not standing up to Maya and not telling her no to pranking James and you as well." I added.

"Um it's uh ok." he said awkwardly, After a few seconds Jaxon spoke up.

" I hope you know we're still gonna get you 3 back." I grinned 

"I look forward to it."

"What are you looking forward to?" Jace asked coming in the living room with only his boxers on. Oh my god he was only in boxers in bed.

 "I'm looking forward to you putting on clothes." I said.

 "You know you like this princess." he said gesturing at his naked body.

 "I'd rather claw my eyes out." I said. 

"Ouch!" Jace said putting both hands over his heart.

 "That hurt princess." he said making me roll my eyes.

 "I thought that after last night you'd finally stop denying your feelings for me." Jace said. 

" What do you mean after last night?!" I asked starting to panic. 

"You don't remember how you tried to kiss me?" Jace asked grinning. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"You're lying." I said though I honestly don't know if he is or not because everything from last night is blank to me.

"I bet you wish I was." Jace said. I looked around at my friends and Jace's friends.

"Jace could I talk to you upstairs?" I asked.I i didn't wait for an answer, I grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him upstairs to his room and shut the door. 

"Okay Jace tell me right now what the hell actually happened last night?!" I demanded.

"Fine but you're not gonna like what you hear. Let's start with the part where I saw your ex-boyfriend spiking your drink."
