Chapter 10

"So how'd stage fighting go?" Maya asked when El, James, Jaxon, Jace and I sat down. I looked at Jace who had a giant bruise along his  jaw line guiltily.

"It could've went better." I said.

"Could've been better?!" James exclaimed.

"It was amazing! This girl here actually punched Jace! It was beautiful." James said wiping an imaginary year away.

"Thanks for being concerned." Jace said sarcastically. Jaxon chuckled.

"Let's be honest here Jace. If James was the one who got sacked you'd find it hilarious." He pointed out. Jace just glared at him and didn't say a word.

"I really am sorry Jace." I apologized for like the one hundredth time.

"It's ok kitten. It was an accident." Jace said.

"Still. I shouldn't have gotten distracted." I said.

"Butter cup, when are you not distracted?" Maya asked grinning.

"Yeah I've never once seen you focused on anything for more then 5 minutes." El pointed out. I could feel my face heating up in embarrassment.

"Shut up." I said. They just laughed.

"Hey guys we should go to Busch Gardens this weekend." Jaxon said. 

"Oh that sounds fun!" I exclaimed.

"El and I are definitely down with that." Maya said.

"I'm the only one who has a car big enough to fit all of us so I guess I have to go by default." James said. Jace hadn't spoken at all.

"Jace will you come?" I asked him.

"On 3 conditions." He said.

"What are these conditions?" Jaxon asked uneasily.

"Don't worry Jaxon there for Riley only." Jace said grinning.

"Great..." I said sarcastically.

"What are these conditions?"

"1. We ride together in a separate car. 2. You let me when you a giant stuffed animal of your choice and 3. Promise not to punch me again." He listed slightly laughing at the last condition while everyone else cracked up. I grinned at him.

"Hmmm well your conditions aren't that bad so I guess I can agree to them." I said. Jace grinned stupidly.

"Yes!" He exclaimed doing a weird dance. I giggled at his behaviour.

"Alright come on weirdo we have gym."

"No!" All the guys yelled at once.

"Last time we went to that class you 3 witches did stuff to our baby makers." Jaxon said looking at his crotch with sorrow. Maya, El and I broke out in laughter.

"Oh laugh it up whole you can ladies." James said.

"You won't be laughing for long." Jaxon said.

"Oh!! Jace you have to tell me the plan! You promised." I  blurted out. James and Jaxon looked at him shocked.

"You said you'd tell her?!" Jaxon asked.

"It was the only way to get her on the bike." Jace explained.  I smiled at James and Jaxon innocently.

"Are you sure it's not because you like her?" James asked grinning. I watched Jace's face turn a slight tinge of red.

"Shut up." He mumbled pushing past him and walking to the gym. James and Jaxon followed him. The girls gave me a look as if to say ' told you so.' I rolled my eyes, grabbed there arms and pulled them along with me to the gym.
