Rose Emerson

I heard a voice.

A voice speaking to me.

She spoke to me, but I don't know where it came from. I haven't heard her voice for a long time.

I still don't know where I am, but everything is confusing me. I still can't deal with how someone randomly appears and then disappears.

I feel like I'm waking up though. I think I'm awake, but I don't notice or maybe I'm just filling myself with too much hope that I'll be gone from this absolute terror.

I fall down to the green grass and I'm screaming. I don't know why I'm screaming.. Why am I screaming? I look at my body and I see myself bleeding.

My eyes widen as I look at the amount of blood I'm losing. I raise my arm and inspect it. There's this weird liquid, what is it?

I feel as if claws are digging into my skin, but there isn't any claws. I just have deep wounds and I'm bleeding. I look around me to notice that I'm in the woods right behind the house.

A silver orb surrounds me as roses start to come out of my body and I turn to my arm to see that I'm healing. The roses go over my body and I've stopped screaming. I don't feel the pain of being clawed at anymore.

I feel strength.

I close my eyes and sit up with a gasp.

I open my eyes to see that I'm in a dark room. I turn my head and my eyes connect with a pair of wide blue ones that warm my heart. I notice that his eyes contain recognition, confusion and a hint of fear before I pass out again.

I enter Rose's hospital room and sigh a sad sigh.

I walk over to her side and place a gentle kiss on her forehead. I sit on a chair and stare at Rose.

She's ultimately beautiful even in her current state. I rub my temples and take out my phone to message Violet.

Hey, sis. Hope I didn't wake you up, but I just want to tell you that Rose is still the same. Are you visiting her tomorrow? ~ Ty.

You didn't wake me, but yes, I'm visiting her tomorrow. ~ Vi.

I let out a breath and look at my beautiful mate. My wolf desperately wants her, as do I. We miss her.

It's very quiet here in the hospital. Well, of course since its like three am and everyone is sleeping.

When I first saw Rose it was like I've seen an angel, but I knew I had to wait for my mate. I haven't found my mate and I'm admiring this beauty of a girl. I felt ashamed of myself, but something pulled me to her which led me to sit beside her in science.

The next day when we looked into each other's eyes I found out that she is my mate. The only reason I didn't know she was mine before was because she refused to even look at me.

I smile and brush a strand of hair away from her face. My eyebrows furrow when I pull back and I see a silver orb surrounding her. I look at her heart rate and see it quickening and then going back to normal.

The weirdest thing is that roses start to come out her body and I reach for her, but I'm pricked and my eyes widen. I look down to see the stems of the roses with thorns. I look to my finger to see it bleeding.

Is she getting hurt?

I look to see her skin gaining colour. She was originally pale, but her skin was like a sickly pale during her coma. I look to see her scars healing and being replaced with smooth skin.
