The Dark Board

All the guys made their way one by one into the dusty room that seemed to be some type of storage unit or end of the world bunker of some sort. As more of the boys flooded into the seemingly 'big enough' room. They start to explore a little walking through the different sections that where lined with these metal shelves stacked up with all sorts of things. It was as if whoever made this room was preparing for something. As if they knew that something was going to happen.

"What the hell is this room?" Yunho questions running his fingers across one of the dusty shelves he walked past. "I have no idea, it looks like it supposed to be like a storage room or like a bomb shelter." Hongjoong says as he walks past Yunho on the opposite side of the shelf. "This place is lowkey so cool I wonder what they were preparing for? " the forever curious Wooyoung asked while basically running through the shelves to see things. "I don't know but it must have been something really big that they were stocking up this much." Yeosang says while holding an unlabled can in his hand. He quietly places it back on the shelf and walks back to where Wooyoung is standing.

As they were all standing in front of the room looking at, at least 7 shelving units they all began to wonder why? While standing in the front of the room Jongho notices something in the far corner of the back wall. "Hey hyung is that a cabinet in the back there?" he asks San pointing in the direction of the cabinet. San looks in the direction that the younger is pointing. Squinting his eyes and moving in the direction he sees it. "Hey guys Jongho found a cabinet back here." He says leading the group towards the back corner of the room. They all stand in a half circle around this metal cabinet.

"Open it." Yunho says pushing Mingi forward. Mingi shocked just glares at Yunho for pushing him. Yunho returns the glare with a sheepish smile. Mingi being the scardy cat he is cautiously reaches out for the handles of the door. Before he can grasp the handles a mouse runs past his feet from the shelf next to him. He yelps and jumps back falling into Yunho's arms. "My hero." Yunho says sarcastically looking down at Mingi who is just sheepishly smiling back at him. Yunho lifts him back up and Mingi goes in for round two of opening the door. This time with no hesitation he grips the handles and swings both doors open. Everybody gathers around in anticipation to see what's inside this mysterious metal cabinet.

Everybody's anticipation soon was extinguished and is replaced with confusion as they find that the cabinet is completely empty accept for one singular flat box laying faced down in the middle of the last shelf. Mingi bends down and picks up the dusty box to brings it closer to the light. He blows an insane amount of dust off and then flips the box around. The motion immediately catching everyone's attention. He wearily turns towards all of them to show his finding. "It's a... Ouija board?" Jongho says slightly confused and taken aback by the randomly found object. But that's not all, a similar paper taped to the box that each of them have but none know about. Jongho reads the sentence out loud.

Brace yourselves

Seonghwa laughs awkwardly trying to dissolve the seemingly tense situation. "Okay I think that's enough exploration for one day." Seonghwa says gently and carefully takes the box out of Mingi's hands and places it back in the metal cabinet on the middle shelf. He closes the door and turns back to everyone. "How about a movie?" Seonghwa says clasping his hands together while Hongjoong ushers the guys out of the mysterious room. With some protesting groans they all make there way out, with a particular someone eyeing the cabinet on his way out. As the last person makes their way out of the dimly lit tunnel the fireplace slides it's way back into place like the tunnel was never there in the first place. Everybody makes their way back out of the room to head back to what they where doing previously like they didn't just uncover something crazy.

But one of the boys remain standing and staring at the now sealed passage too intrigued to let the thought go.

As all the boys gather in their new living room, they choose a movie and huddle up on the couches. An hour goes by of the movie and the boys started loosing interest, some were messing around on their phones while others were just having little conversations. Wooyoung who still couldn't take his mind off that ouija board was thinking of some kind of excuse to sneak back into the study and get the board. Just then he realised that his room is in the same direction as the study just up the stairs. He nudges San whose sitting next to him, "Hey I'm getting a little cold I'm gonna get me a hoody upstairs." He says and stands up to 'get a hoody'. San stands up aswell. "I was just about to get one too, let's go together." he says pulling Wooyoung along. As they near the stairs Wooyoung abruptly stops and turns to San. San stops and turns to him confused. "What's wrong why'd you stop?" San asks confused. Wooyoung just starts telling San what his up to. "I actually wanted to go back to that room and get the board, I'm so curious I just really wanna play with it." He says in a slightly whiny voice while holding onto San's shoulders. San looked a little unsure. "I don't think that's a good idea Woo." He says trying to change his bestfriend's mind. "Why not? I think it would fun c'mon." He says dragging San past the stairs and back towards the study.

They unlock the door and head inside shutting the door behind them. San still a little anxious about this whole ordeal that Wooyoung is getting him into, can't stand still. Wooyoung heads straight to the fireplace to that horse statue on the mantle and pulls it forward. He steps to the back to allow the fireplace to slide out of the way. "Don't you think they heard that?" San stands next too Wooyoung arms crossed. "Not a chance the living room to far and there's a movie playing, don't worry." He says nonchalantly and leads the way down the tunnel. They reach the end of the tunnel and swiftly making their way inside the room to the back cabinet and opens the door. Wooyoung overly excited grabs the box off the shelf and gives it to San while he closes the door. They make their way back towards the entrance of the tunnel. "You see nothing happened and you thought we where gonna get caught." Wooyoung said a little too quickly. As they where nearing the end of the tunnel you could hear Jongho's voice saying, "Ohhhh hyung is gonna be in trouble." That's when San turned back to Wooyoung, "What where you saying about not getting caught? " He says looking back at Wooyoung as he just faces forward and prepares for the scolding his about to get.

As they exit the tunnel standing there is the whole house, but a very angry looking Seonghwa and Hongjoong standing in the middle of the room." I'm sorry he forced me to go with him." San says lifting his arms up in surrender. Wooyoung mouths the word traitor at him to which San replys by just shrugging his shoulders. Seonghwa looks at him arms folded waiting for him to explain himself. "Hyung I just really wanted to play it looks like it could be so fun, please can we play?" Wooyoung say pleading with Seonghwa and Hongjoong. "I don't think that's a good idea, what if something bad happens and then what do we do?" Hongjoong says seriously. "Nothing's gonna happen it's just a harmless game, don't you guys wanna see if you could talk to the dead?" He questions the rest of the boys in the room. "No not really I'd rather have them rest in peace than disturb me for disturbing them." Yeosang say in a matter of fact tone. Wooyoung breathes out a heavy sigh. "Please hyung just this one time, promise." He says holding out his out streached pinky for one of his hyungs to interlock. "Only this once." Hongjoong says locking their fingers. "Thank you hyung." Wooyoung say gleefully. Before Wooyoung can let his pinky go Hongjoong pulls him closer and says, "But if anything and I mean anything happens I'm blaming you." He say, smiles and walks away. Wooyoung just shruggs it off. And heads inside to set everything up.

After 10 minutes of Wooyoung 'setting things up' and forcing Jongho to help him he announces his finished and that everyone should come sit. As the boys make their way inside lights where off, candles where put out everywhere and the board sat in the middle of the coffee table also surrounded by I few candles. "Don't you think this is a little overkill for just a little game?" Mingi asks looking everything laid out. "Not at all I was just trying to set up the spooky mood." He says with a big smile making his way to the middle of the living room to the coffee table and sitting down cross-legged infront of the board waiting for the others to join. "Lets just get this over with." Yeosang says sitting down on the opposite side of the table across Wooyoung. One by one all the boys find their seats and wait for someone to explain how to play.

"Okay so how this is played is every player puts 2 fingers of each hand on the planchett lightly like barely even touching it. Then you move the planchett clockwise in a circle three times then someone says 'ouija are you here' then you proceed with the question you would like to ask. And when closing out the game basically you would do the first step but instead of saying hello you drag the planchett to goodbye and say goodbye. Got it?" Wooyoung says after basically speed running through everything." Is there anything that we shouldn't do?" Yunho questions." Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. There are 3 main rules that you should NEVER break when playing the game, don't take your hands off the planchett until you said bye. Don't provoke the spirt that you're talking to and never under any circumstances end the game without saying goodbye and blowing the candles on the table out." He said in a very unsettling tone." Okay so let's get started." He said all cheerfully as if he didn't just scare the shit out of everyone in the room. Everybody wearily put their hands lightly on the planchett and started the game exactly as told.
