Now that Harry and I were official everybody got their eyes on us, especially on me, waiting for me to do something stupid, something that would brand me as undeserving for him.
It was pressuring. It felt like wherever I go, eyes would follow my every movement. It made me feel suffocated but I didn't dare complain. I love Harry and I would take it all if by the end of the day he was still mine.
It was mayhem in our school when I came back because suddenly, everyone wanted to be my friend. They wanted something to do with Harry Styles' girlfriend. I might admit the attention is indeed overwhelming. Everywhere I go there would be people surrounding me.
Ianne and Jasmine helped me in getting my way into school, sometimes even out teachers helped me get through my classes because let's be real, it's sometimes annoying to have people to follow you wherever you go.
My mom and dad were happy with what Harry did even though there would be a person or two in front of our house at least as my dad put it, "he had the bravery to introduce you to people". I'd like to think it as a good sign of him accepting Harry.
We were currently at his apartment, enjoying the day. Harry really likes to just laze around the house so I made his breakfast, and then we watch movies. It was an ordinary day.
I was just making popcorn at the kitchen when he knocked on the cabinet above me.
"What do you want?" I asked, not looking at him. I noticed how close his body was to me but I didn't think much of it. He'd been a little touchy since I came here.
"You're taking so long." He complained and I rolled my eyes at his incessant whining.
"You're such a kid Harry."
I could feel his exasperated sigh behind me. "I'm so busy with the tour and when I get to spend a day with you, you're always doing something either making food or cleaning something."
He put his hands on my shoulder steering me out of the kitchen.
"Come on, come on, get out of here and spend time with me." He reprimanded, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I smiled internally. I let him steer me out and letting me sit on the couch beside him.
"The popcorn Harry." I told him and he got back inside the kitchen. He put it gently on the table and propped himself beside me.
"Now, can your attention be on me and just me?" He asked. I could hear a subtle annoyance in his voice. What was wrong with this man?
"I'm just a wall away from you in the kitchen Harry, you're being a baby." I pointed out even though deep down, I like him being so clingy to me.
He wrapped his arm around my waist, guiding my head into his chest. He began stroking my hair.
"I want you here. Now, shut up and let me hold you." He muttered while stroking my hair.
It was really comforting and calming to be held by Harry like this. It feels good to know that here, there was no one to judge me down, no cameras flashing, and no one would look at whatever I was doing. It made me feel free. It was just Harry and me.
We were silent for a long time, just listening to each other's breathing pattern. It was a beautiful silence. He was stroking my hair gently while I was just listening to his heartbeat. The popcorn lay at the table, forgotten.
"I miss you." He suddenly said. It's one of the things he always says to me but I never get tired of hearing them.
I lifted my face up, kissing him on the jaw. I didn't need to tell him. I miss him too, so much.
