Janna Sofia Carter
I woke up feeling a little bit jittery. It's some kind of a hunch when something was about to go wrong but I always get jitters ever since I got together with Harry so I didn't pay it any attention.
Harry's break was up until next month. He would be here for two weeks and for the last two weeks of his vacation he would be at their home at Holmes, Chapel. He wanted me to come with him but I refused. It's already too much that he was staying in London for two whole weeks just to be with me when he could've spent it with his family. I wanted to give him some privacy even though we're together.
I'm almost at his house for my every free hour and I know my family doesn't like it but it's only for two weeks. We rarely get to see each other so if there's any chance for me to see him, it'd be this time.
We had always been just inside his house or my house or just away from the eyes of everyone. It's not that we're avoiding them; we were normally just like that.
So today, I was determined to get him out of his house.
I got down and greeted my mom good morning. It's Saturday and everyone in our house was too lazy to cook breakfast so I grabbed a granola bar on the cupboard, grab some milk then ate it silently. My dad would still be sleeping at this hour.
My mom got inside and looked at me. "Going to Harry's?" she asked
"No, we're going out."
She shrugged turning over to the fridge. "I thought you two are gonna still keep this lazy date of yours." She said sarcastically. He must have noticed it too.
I made a face. "Mom, it's normally like that."
"Sofia," she never calls me Sofia unless she's giving me this mom lecture. And I knew I was going to get one. "Lazing around the house is not a date. Go out, tell him to take you to a fine dining, or watch movies."
I laughed, giving her a sideway stare. "You're telling me to go to a movie with Harry? People don't date there. They make out mom."
She rolled her eyes but she was smiling. "Kids nowadays"
I nodded in confirmation; dumping the wrapper of the granola then got up.
"Well, I'm off to shower and get ready to my 'go out' date with Harry" I gave her my best teasing smile.
"I haven't said yes Janna."
I ran upstairs shouting, "Love you mom!"
I heard her grumbling under her breath but I just shrugged it off.
-----
Harry met me up at the mall. He wanted to pick me up on our house but I said no. It's not that I don't want him there but some fans may know he was there and I'm not really a fan of people waiting outside our house and asking me question about Harry.
He kissed me on the forehead, his hand automatically tangling with mine perfectly.
He was wearing a Ray Bans shades and he gave me a sheepish smile.
"Am I going to carry a lot of bags later?" he teased me, his teasing smile eliciting something inside me. I like that smile of his. The smile where only half of his mouth is going upwards and I could see his dimple peeking out on his cheeks.
I playfully shove him even though I knew he didn't even feel it. He was too strong to feel it. "I'm not actually a shopaholic."
He raised his eyebrows. "We'll see about that. What are you buying anyway?"
